Full compilation of Aaron voicing Ozpin! Wanted to make one of these each for Aaron and Shannon for the sake of comparing how the Oz voice has changed as the merging process goes on. And uh, after making these videos, I can confidently say: haha ozmosis go brr

I put these together so as to better study how each VA is merging their voice with the other, and I'm SO GLAD I did, cause I'm noticing even more, especially with Shannon. We already know how flawlessly Aaron can imitate the old Oz voice, but it's more subtle with Shannon since he's doing a mergy voice, not a full-on Oscar impersonation. Still, it's worth a watch to see how much he's changed! What talented VAs. Let me know your thoughts or if you notice anything! I might've missed some stuff, too :D (This one has captions btw! I’m real disappointed they don’t do the overlapping of their voices anymore throughout the series. It was a very nice touch and it was like a constant reminder to the audience that Oscar/Ozpin’s fates are still destined to intertwine.

It was super cool! I think that's part of it though - they don't overlap anymore because they're getting closer and closer to becoming one, so Shannon's voice doesn't come through anymore. Oscar's voice is the next voice of "Oz," it seems. I'm curious whether one day Oz's voice in Oscar's head will be in Oscar's voice. It's already starting to sound like it. Or maybe Oz's thoughts will overlap with Oscar's voice, like the inverse of before. And then it'll stop overlapping and become Oscar's voice alone... so many possibilities!

Damn Arron so damn smooth and it’s crazy to see how Arron becomes more like Oscar from ozpin to in his tone and inflexions in his voice it’s a really impressive detail something that’s always I love about RWBY they always surprise me with this

right?? It's so damn impressive and subtle that it feels natural, then you watch earlier Oz talking and go ??? since when do you sound like THAT? before remembering oh yeah, since forever. Until now. v5 oz sounds wrong to me now XD

Yayyy I'm so glad this is something someone wanted! I just made them for myself to analyze the way their voices have been merging, but then figured why not post 'em? And you're not alone!! When they hired Aaron I can only imagine how blown away they were by his ability to pull off the Oz voice. I feel bad for Shannon, though, having to learn how to sound more like Oscar when that wasn't originally part of his casting XD He's doing great at it, though! But yes, Aaron's Oz voice is uncanny

Oscar as Ozpin sounds so accurate that the first couple episodes where we saw Ozpin talking through our sweet farm boi, I thought it was literally Shannon doing his best impression of Aaron, not the other way around.

Salem wont be reasoned with, because she cant be reasoned with. Much like the grimm, she is the embodiment of death, destruction and Hate. and well, she wants to die and the only way she can do that is by destroying remnant. The way I see it, the show can end in one of two ways. Salem "wins" brings all the relics together, bringing on the gods judgment. However, the gods see that humanity has united against her. and restore their magic. Salem gets nuked by rubys lazer eyes (bad ending, but a possible one.)
