The thing that came to mind immediately is the old saying "You don't know what you have, untill it's gone". Depicted by the weeping sun after it lost most of it's shine after crashing down. Another one is "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" as don't question the value of a gift. The sun being a gift of the god of light to humanity, yet humanity trying to influence it.

What I took away from this is the tenacity that Humanity has when they find a common problem. So often it's easier to say the problems of another person was due to his or her own faults and that we should let them struggle. But when the Sun lost its light and was shattered in this story, everyone had the same problem it the Sun was the "other one". By banding together and making the moon as a giant glass orb holding all the Sun's lost light they found beauty and found new gratitude for what they had already, reiterating something even Salem admitteded: Humanity united under a common banner with a common goal is a formidable force, either for good(helping the Sun) or for evil if they decide to go that route.

I was really looking forward to this story, because I love sun/moon theme. However I didn't expect this outcome. In other stories with this theme, the moon is usually sad and depressed. I really like what they did with this story. Maybe another thing we can learn from this story is that we shouldnt force others to do things for us? I dont know if that makes sence. Anyway I really enjoyed this video.

What if the silver eyes have some connection to this fairy tail I mean the Light is silver similar to the now moon/ old sun which was a Gift from the God of Light What if some of the light of the old sun in the form of magic got connected with some people As a Side Note Magic can be passed on as Seen in 'Lost Fable'

The sun staying in ond place making the crops in that area burn up and making the other side of the world freeze over could be a possible reference to the desert of vacuo and the frozen wasteland of atlas.
