As I sit here watching the end of the review it seems you guys missed something. The Hound Human has silver eyes not just grey but silver as he has the flecks in his iris's that indicates a silver eye'd warrior.

They've been animating auras taking a big hit as well as breaking, in the last few volumes. It got downright confusing this chapter, with Ruby; but since Emerald knocked out Ruby at Haven, it must be possible to knock someone out even when their aura is up. Which means I was right about one thing, Cinder could've plucked out Ruby's eyes instead of impaling Weiss. Would've been interesting to see if Jaune could restore those... The faunus had a silver eye. I used to think Salem wanted Ruby alive to burn the grimm out of her before summoning the gods back to Remnant; now I'm not so sure.

When it hit Weiss, her aura didn't break because she was still able to use her semblance. and I don't know if you caught it but the guy inside The Hound had silver eyes. Cinder lost her eye because of Rubys silver eyes and I don't think that Salem wants to turn Cinder into one of those grimm because she is a vessel for the maiden powers.

You have to remember that they've been fighting and working for almost 2 days without rest, everyone is tired. Aura isn't broken until you see the "Puff" Their Aura will flash when it's getting low. The Aura blinking has been around for a few volumes I think since the Vol.6 basically the animation engine change. They talk about the eye, but not the Silver Eyes? I'm not sure Cinder would turn into a hound, I think the idea is that only Silver Eyed people can be Hybrids. but we'll have to see.
