In real life, sociopaths mostly act normal and enforce their control through subtle means, particularly when they think they have their victim completely under their control. Only once this facade is stripped away, broken down (particularly by their victim defying their control), does the true nature of their personality show up... in that sense, Adam's character is quite realistic, particularly since the sociopathic qualities were hinted at even from the Black trailer. At first, he managed to rationalize away Blake's leaving, but once he met up with her again it all went downhill as the obsession reared up... as it generally does for such characters.

Difference between liking him as a character and liking him as a person. He was a wonderfully crafted, awful person. Doesn’t mean those who like his character agree with him. Just think the CRWBY did a good job making a character that worked off the cast well, and filled his role in the show well.

Just going to say it, Adam was before the new writers took over. Monty did a lot of things great, he was not one of them. I can't say the same for fanfic writers.

Man..... THIS VOLUME WAS FRICKIN AMAZING....the opening theme, Jinn, the “history of Salem” episode, The Apathy Grimm & Ruby using her silver eyes, Maria being the “Grimm Reaper”, the “red haired women”(connected to Pyrrha in some way), the Blake&Yang vs Adam fight, seeing “Summer Rose” for the first time, to the after credit scene, and my personal favourite THE RETURN OF NEO (#top5bestgirlsofrwbyforme)....this was definitely the best volume of RWBY to date (and I hope it continues with Vol. 7.....who knows maybe we will potentially get a chance to learn what “really” happened to Summer (I hope)). Anyway, my final verdict of this volume: Character Designs: 9.5/10 Story: 10/10 Fight Scenes: 10/10 Themes: 10/10 Grimm Designs: 10.5/10 Music: 15/10 Character Development for Ruby: 15/10 Enjoyment: 15/10 Salem: 10/10 Emotions felt (a.k.a. The “feels”): 15/10 Overall Score: 120/100 Can’t wait till next year. P.S. I just loved your reactions for this volume, can’t wait to see your Gen:Lock reaction vids.

Cordo can easily "write off" the "missing" airship as "MIA" in the Grimm battle, presumed "KIA".......a tacit acknowledgement and a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours"....Cordo recognizes that Team RWBY went to great effort to save Argus, and therefore gave them a pass.

After all Maria said ones silver eyes aren’t a weapon they are a tool used to protect people a true warriors weapons are their own training and abilities, in the end they will win the day.

And if you think her being the military officer put her in the right, you should listen to the crew on afterbuzz tv for v6 ep 11-13. One of them has a military background and has told extensively how Cordos actions SHOULD lead to a court martial P.S. I ve been listening to the song Nevermore since yesterday. Not only is it awesome, but everytime I hear it I can sense.......a disturbance. like a million Adam Taurus fanboys CRYING IN PAIN! BWAHAHAHA!

Ah, the last chapter of a volume...always so bittersweet... At least there's _Gen:Lock_ to help us cope... I was surprised that the chapter was short. Typically, the last chapters of RWBY are usually the longest of each volume. Ah, well, I have no complaints. It's all awesome either way Like the new outfits of Neo and Cinder (although, I must confess, I didn't notice Neo's outfit at first). Neo's semblance is also impressive if she could do that to a ship. It is interesting that Cinder seems to align herself with people who are good at manipulation, at least in the case with Emerald. Neo can create physical illusions while Emerald can create mental illusions. Still, that was a cheap shot using Pyrrha's last words... It was fun to note how Maria was acting devil's advocate, stating that it would be better to leave while a kaiju-Grimm is going on a rampage (knowing full well no one is going to agree to that). It reminds me Ironwood's choice to the students in volume 3, where they could either fight for school and people or safe yourself. And just like them, the team pretty much replied as much. Because there really was no choice, and because that is what Huntsmen and Huntresses do... That Leviathan Grimm is something. Seriously, the moment it started its fire/lightning breath attack, my thought was 'That figures. Going for the Godzilla Shin feel' I think we can all agree that this volume belongs to Ruby Rose... Summoning Jinn just in order to give herself a little more time was clever. It calls back to me of Aladdin, when Genie was tricked in using his ability to save Aladdin and the others from the cave without actually using one of the wishes. And Jinn replied the same way... >>>> R: I don't have a question. I just... I just needed some time. J: I know. And even though you didn't seek knowledge, just this once, I'll offer it for free. I will not allow you to call me without a question again. ...Even if this was clever. >>>> A: ...Now about my three wishes. G: Do my ears deceive me? You are down by one, boy. A: I didn't actually wish for you to get us out of the cave. You did that on your own. G: Guhh! I feel so sheepish. Alright, you baaaad boy. But no more freebies. >>>>> This also shows another ability that marks a leader; the ability to use all of their resources when they are needed. And Ruby has already shown that she can think quickly enough to use them, even in unexpected ways (even if this was also an act of desperation). She showed the same quick action when she was facing Neo and Roman in V3, when she got out of that situation by unfurling Neo’s umbrella. Even still, this also shows that Ruby still has a lot of training to do, especially with regards to her silver eyes. Her power has its limitations. Summer Rose... . . . . . . We could end the chapter with that scene and everyone would not complain (actually they could; RT would use that as another cliffhanger). Wow! Just wow! And just for a scene of her alone (Enjoying all the reactions of that). Ruby is indeed the spitting image of her mother. And the music that came after; spot-on epic! (It's currently stuck in my head now, along with the The _My Hero Acedemia_ and _Gurren Laggen_ references) It was also nice that Ruby apologized for her actions, even though Cordovin was more or less the antagonist. After all, Ruby and her team were plotting to steal an airship, even though they had their reasons. And it's also nice to see them working together to defeat the Leviathan, thus showing, as Ruby said, that they have to work together. The dialogue between Qrow and Maria is nice. It had a sense of leaving the fight up to the next generation. Not that either is going to retire anytime soon (technically, Maria already retired and is now reactivated). It must mean something if Ren is the one pointing out how crazy Ruby's actions were. With role models like Maria and Qrow, it would make sense though. So Ozpin switched into being Kenobi and guiding a 14-year old farmhand in teaching him the ways of the Force. Sounds about right. Atlas... Pretty cool design, being a sky city and all. And I could guess that the land beneath it with all the smoke is Mantle. As awesome is the view, it also shows the division between the two. We've already seen and heard some of the attitudes of the people of Altas; mostly an elitist type (with few exceptions, like Weiss, Winter, team FNKY, and Penny). It will be interesting to see how the team deals in that kind of environment. War is coming... "If this is the size of our defenses, what is it we're expecting to fight?" Seems like Ironwood forgotten that bit of advice that Ozpin gave him. With all the technology of Atlas, they could have used it to help repair the CCT in Beacon. But instead, Ironwood is mobilizing the air fleet, practically putting a target on the city and possibly forgetting how such defense fared little against Salem, who is apparently gathering her own forces. _Fly, my pretties! Fly!_ And seeing that Watts and Tyrian are there, likely they’re going to have something to do that could sabotage Atlas and it may be the Fall of Beacon again. Ruby and her team might be able to prevent it, but with Cinder and Neo heading there as well, things just got _really_ complicated. Until the next volume... ^_^

That is a fair point. Atlas has a lost to deal with, especially with Salem mobilizing her forces. Which got me thinking (theory time!), what if this is a misdirection from Salem. What if her attack is not to be aimed at Atlas, but rather, at Vacuo? She did mention it as a target for the next Relic.

Firstly, did you forget the relic attracts grimm? It's not only her negative emotions, but also the relic that drew the grimm's attention to Ruby. Secondly, I love seeing Summer in Ruby's concentration on those she loves. Also that Cordo gave Ruby's group a pass, what few understand is that sometimes you're forced to break the law. In order to save a life or do the right thing or especially to protect those you love. No, you won't always be given passes for that, in fact it's rare you do, but to protect those you love... It's worth breaking laws and risking your existence for them.

This was a good final Episode So Ruby and her friends decide to Fight the Leviathan to save Argus and Ruby used her Silver eyes to turn it to stone and we see Summer Rose for the first time but it didn’t last very long but lucky Cordovan arrived and finished it off and she seams to understand Ruby Better and decided to let it go while taking care of the rest and we learn Oscar landed the plane with Ozpin’s guide and he is staying Low and Silent for a while and letting The group handle thing but watching over them and they finally make it to Atlas while Cinder and Neo are making their way aswell and Salem is turning Buringulls into her own Flying Monkeys Salem, Fly My Pretty’s Fly.

For me adam died in the fall of becon, they had no clue what to do with his charecter later down the line i thought they would make adam go through the same developtment a vegita from dragon ball but they just gave up on his charecter it was a dying horse that finaly got put down... people liked him more when he had more to his charecter then an angery ex... but now it doesn't matter he's dead

thing i didn't like about this volume, one the effing cliffhangers were obnoxious, and two, how soon it ended. honestly, it should keep going, and not stop with ANOTHER cliffhanger. i mean, in the last volume at the end we saw raven land back at home with rwby/yang's father, and we saw nothing of it. and nothing of torchwick either. this volume consists of three things. we finally get an explanation on silver eyes and them being used, bumblebee ship has set sail, and a lot of story and fighting, with some in between that wasn't great except for the pyra seen
