Can Semblance be used if Aura is broken? The best answer I can come up with is, "It varies depending on the individual". Low energy passive Semblances APPEAR TO still be able to work when Aura's down, while high energy Semblances that have to be consciously triggered don't. Which sorta makes sense. The soul generates Aura, that Aura is replenished over time, and passive Semblances basically run on what amounts to trickle power (ie, they don't consume Aura faster than it's regenerated) while activated Semblances use up power faster than it can be generated. This is just my personal analysis based on what I've seen, but I think it makes sense.

Concerning the naked blue people: the Brothers are Black/Purple and Gold/Yellow. Combine the two, and blue would be a shade between them. Also, they too didn't wear clothes.

Which makes sense. None of these beings have to do the sexytime to make more entities. So, they don't need naughty bits. For whatever reason, they code male or female, so they adopt the secondary characteristics, but the plumbing is redundant and they just Barbie/Ken themselves. And when it comes down to it, if Ambrosius ever needed wedding tackle, he can just make it and then discard it when done. I mean, if you aren't urinating or having sex, they just get in the way most of the time, so removeable junk would be really nice.

To answer your semblance/aura question: Yes, semblances use aura so once aura is gone, a person can't use their semblance. An example of this is when the gang were in the Whale, Ren's aura went out and so did his ability to mask him, Jaune, and Yang from the Grimm Seer.

That's true except when it isn't. People have used their Semblances with their Auras broken before. And presumably if that were how it worked, Qrow could just hire someone to beat him up every so often and he wouldn't have bad luck anymore.

@@Megatank29 IIRC the typical examples are Blake at Beacon (still uses her Semblance after being stabbed by Adam, therefore presumably has no Aura) and Yang in her character short (instantly uses her Semblance after having her Aura broken). Since the clearest examples are older material, I feel this is another thing like Aura changing from always-on to selective that's changed over time.

You were talking about the Schnee name thingy they have going on. Willow, Winter, Weiss, Whitley. DID YOU EVER NOTICE WINTER being the ONLY SCHNEE with dark eyebrows? Every other Schnee's eyebrows are the colour of their hair. Jaques hasn't always have white hair, it's only him getting older he used to have dark hair and eyebrows. Winter has 'his" eyebrows when you talk about colour. Funny little sidenote. Don't know if it was decided because she's the oldest of the Schnee children to kinda link her to both sides of her parents or just a random choice to give her dark eyebrows. AAAAAAAAAAANYWAYS Winter is awesome, the Schnee's are awesome. Edit: I thought the same about the remaining spirits in the next 2 relics that they could be red

The irony is that Salem used fancy words to trick the God of Darkness into bringing Ozma back, and we hate her for it. Ruby does the same with Ambrosius so that he has no choice but to create a new body for Penny, but most celebrate it because they want Penny to be a « real » girl. Personally, I prefer our girl as a robot🤩.

The whole volume spent reducing the general to a cartoon villain, and they take him down in under a minute. How did he never see Winter's betrayal coming? Where are *any* other soldiers, here or in the vault? Anime/game finishing move, woo... at least we now have Pouty Winter to add to Hair-Down Winter. Ambrosius is the highlight of the chapter. Can he only create thrice a century, too? He refers directly to Pietro, but the writers seem to have forgotten about him and Maria entirely; we don't see them again, even Penny doesn't bring them up. Did they just... die? Y'know, it's really unclear. But who cares! HUGS! Vacuo may yet be unspoiled by Salem, but can a kingdom in a desert handle thousands of refugees? Pyrrha, arrow to the ankle. Penny, becomes a real girl. All the more evidence that Jaune is going to burn. But for now, let's hope the central location isn't a... Forever Fall situation. Eh? EH??
