@CC Ryder Funny GeeM couldn't build anything to compete in Nascar so they flexed their corporate muscle to get rules changed forcing Ford and Chrysler to run smaller displacement engines and restrictor plates on the intake manifold's basically using two barrel carburetors under the the B.S. that tire tech could not keep up with speed's the Ford's and Mopar's were generating at the super speedway's and where was GeeM? Still selling crap to loser's like you so they could payoff all their cronies for implementing these changes. Support GeeM all you want. I prefer support winner's Chrysler, Ford, AMC, Studebaker, etc.👍

No kidding about the auto stores. The last 4 times I went to auto zone to get a simple car part, like an exhaust manifold stud, I walked out empty handed. They have everything in these little packages. They had studs for 3 different cars. Anything else they have to order it. If it's not in the packages, we have to order it. They removed the lead from fuel, but they keep the flouride in the water. I want a pair of Hello Kitty boxer shorts.

One of a handful that Plymouth sold for $1,800.00 It had 21,000 miles on it.It was spotless It beat everything in Pahrump Nv at that time.. kept it 3 months & traded it for a 1973 chevy truck. My favorite car was The Sox & Martin 1970 'Cuda that tore up everyone. NHRA began to screw MOPAR by forcing the unbeatable Hemi cars to carry more weight than the Fords, Chevy's, Pontiac's & other assorted non-Mopar cars. I am talking about carrying hundreds of pounds. It was like dragging 6 people behind the Dodges & Plymouths. Still, Ronnie Sox drove the car like all heck & shifted the car so quickly that it sounded like an automatic shifting. You could see the front end pop up through each gear. Yes, these were the best of times when all Americans were of one mind. Not the BS going on now where hatred is spread by the media & Hollywood.

Don't forget about the late great,Bob Glidden! His 351C powered Ford PS' s were winning so much, NHRA kept adding weight to his cars. He'd just find more hp & keep on winning! That's why they gave him the nickname "Mad Dog"!!! Later on, they all went to 500 c.i. & made it heads up racing,& he still kept winning! RIP to all the late great racers!💖💖💖

No tampon commercials at dinner time, and people took responsibility for their own mistakes.

Once you actually drag race on a strip and win, you'll never forget it. It gets in your blood, never view the sport the same, you're addicted! 1982, I was in a 12 second bracket racing, it would get down to me and a Nomad 3 weeks in a row, 1st 2 times I beat him, 3rd time he got me, every shift I could see his front wheel edging into my preferal vision, beat me by a fender at the finish. Never was I so pumped with adrenaline. Just like the Bruce Springsteen song, When the strip shut down, we'd run 'em in the streets! What a great time to be alive.

These frames were used to create a very cool clip "BLACK RAINBOWS - Radio 666" that perfectly captures the feeling of what is happening. Check it out - you will not regret!)

Probably one of the most famous cars in this video was jungle Jim every kid who has built model cars knows that car and king fish was a good car to and this is back when they didn't have to rebuild the motors after every run

Very cool...Since I've been watching this over and over, I pulled out my 1/64 dragsters and funny cars. Come to find out there's more out there than I have in my collection. I guess they couldn't model every single funny car or dragster there was, just the prominent ones.
