Nice set up and good to see traction with a mild tune. I'm running the stock wheels with cup 2's and no way would they ever hang on in 2nd and I'm only running map 5 e30 on a JB4.

@@aussiejetjock yeah man it was much needed but you can probably make 19’s with a 35 sidewall work. 20’s just won’t be able to keep up with that kinda power especially with an even more aggressive tune

Can the rear tires be used for daily driving / driving in rain?
@Broke-Media
@Broke-Media 6 сағат бұрын
@@wordlife_97 you can daily them no problem they just don’t last as long given they’re a super soft tire, also not bad in the rain if you’re driving smart and cautiously but it’s best to avoid heavy rain from what I’ve heard

Hey man I’ve commented on a few of your videos before. Finally got my hands on the m240i. Would you say it’s a big difference going from stage 1 to stage 2? This is my daily driver and I’m not going out and trying to break records or race often. Just want a fast car that’ll beat most cars on the road when need be lol.
@Broke-Media

@@vandyy8 that’s awesome man congrats on the new car🙌🏼 if you’re only running pump gas (91 or 93) then there isn’t a huge difference between stage 1 and 2. I highly recommend stage 1 at least but the biggest different from stage 1 is going to stage 2 E30/E40 mix which is a much bigger jump, but you can also run stage 1 E30 which is pretty close or maybe faster that stage 2 pump gas
@vandyy8

@@Broke-Media thank you brotha, and that’s great to hear man! I think that’s what I’m going to end up doing. I’ll run stage 1 for a while then upgrade to a TU pump and go stage 2+. Just seems to make the most sense. Thanks for that help and insight man!
@vandyy8
@vandyy8 2 ай бұрын
Or can you run an E mix without a TU pump? I don’t really wanna mess with ethanol tho because my mk7 Gti didn’t like when i upgraded my hpfp and ran e40 haha
@Broke-Media
@Broke-Media 2 ай бұрын
@@vandyy8 I recommend a TU pump, they’re pretty cheap these days and the stock pump can only handle up to E30 but can cash every now and then if you go over E30

@@Broke-Media i think what I’ll do is run stage 1 for a while and then make the jump to stage 2+. I saw your video of racing other cars while on your stage 1 file and you were gassin people haha. It’ll be plenty fast for me for a while

1" bigger in the back is cool, but 1" smaller in the back is pretty weird. You couldn't fit 315's in any of the 19" or 20" sizes?
@Broke-Media
@Broke-Media 3 ай бұрын
@@drn55 wider isn’t always better. For maximum traction (drag setup) it’s better to have smaller diameter wheels with a bigger tire sidewall for more bite. Same reason you see drag cars with 15-16 inch wheels and massive tires
