The best, most professionally, presented comparison video on KZbin seen so far. We don't need to see all the (yawn), boring footage of trigger pulling and tiny views of the target usual stuff. This is a lesson for others, well done mate. btw I use RWS Hobbys for all short range, (up to 30 yards) pesting with my Air Arms S200, Weihrauch HW35 and Walther LGV Pro (all .22).

For info; Beeman 10616, 0.31" groups @ 30 yards. 998 fps with rws 8.3 gr superdome field line pellets, 18.3 fpe, silencer, 28 lb cocking, no droop, open sights, very quiet. I shoot it like a deer rifle. Test group shouldered with front rest, light grip. Jsb shoots no better but costs 5x. The gun out shoots me even as a marksman. Much fun, smooth quiet spring, love this gun. Added Tasco 3-9x 40mm AO scope and sling, a whopping $190 total package. Comes with a scope good for 20 yds or less. Gotta love German engineering.

I have a sweet RWS model 36 sife-lever and my primary hunting pellet is the RWS Meisterkugelns. Not only are they accurate but they hit HARD on pest birds! One added benefit .......they hit nearly EXACTLY the same holes at a given distance as the RWS Meisterkugelns do😊!

Good review on my favorite line of pellets. Been shooting them for years. The best preforming ones for me are, in .177. Superdomes, Superpoints, Super H Points, Meisterkuglen the 8 grain. I have a FWB 150 recoiless match rifle that hands down shoot Superdomes. I can hit pinheads with them at 33 feet.

Great video. Being true to yourself is nice to see in this sea of sponsered and marketing commercials. I removed 20 large Grey's from my bird feeder. Using the RWS .22 Hollow point at 950 fps. and after oiling over 1080fps. At 10yds. All body shots ained at heart provided humane kills. 17 where of the 2lb. flavor. The only pellet that didn't fully penitrate had shed it's head off and crushed the shoulder bones. I was very confident and this led to a head on shot that winged it but wasn't going far . Second shot it fell out of the tree dead This was my first squirrel hunting experience and didn't know how lucky I was but it sure was fun. Now the peanuts and shelled sesame seeds last at least 10 times longer. Anyways there are so many pellets it's nice to know that RWS invented the Diablo Pellet and more Olympic gold medals.

Question: did you have problems with the loading with the power ball .177 pellets?
@GaisaSanktejo2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your review! I'd like to share my findings of the three I have used with sub-12 airguns to conform to UK's non-fac laws: I've shot the 22 superdome with a custom PCP which started off as a diana chaser tuned to 10.3 ft/lb's; The superdome is well made and VERY accurate, something I'll consider using for pest control when I finish tuning the airgun (am working on bringing it up to the UK legal limit since, while its good as is, I believe I can get it up to 11.8ft/lb's) I used my hatsan factor, to shoot the 177 pellets; a somewhat controversial airgun due to how a number of owners found them to be inconsistent. I can't say I had that issue, mine's been VERY accurate and out of all the pellets I have fired, it seems to like all but the BSA brands (fliers everywhere and for some reason, they shoot about 4ft to the left at 50 meters) The power bolt? Just... WOW, I had my doubts when I first saw them, but they fly VERY true and once zeroed in, I found them to be VERY consistent and accurate, to the point a whole 28 shot mag tore the bull to shreds. The power point? I was initially "meh" since I couldn't initially get them to zero in, but when I did, they were just as consistent as the power bolt!. Given the choice, I would happily use either for pest control!

I like the RWS Meisterkugeln, consistent good quality, group well and the flat head makes neat holes in paper targets. RWS Hobby are good too but I've found they are so light that from a spring gun the shot cycle seems a bit harsh. I think because the pellet inertia is low, as the piston slams forward it isn't being cushioned by compressed air in front if the piston seal as much. I found that from a spring gun the lighter weight pellets actually have higher energy than heavier pellets.

Have shot plenty of those yellow Meisterkugeln rifle pellets with my dad's airrifle when I was a kid (good memories). Have of course also bought of them myself now as older. Those Meisterkugeln rifle pellets has performed very well with my harder shooting Umarex co2 airpistols (Desert Eagle and Walther CP88 Competition). When going for lighter RWS pellets I have chosen to shoot Hobby and especially the RWS Club pellets with my pellet airpistols. I mostly though shoot co2 replica airpistols. My Crosman Phantom break barrel rifle gets to shoot Crosman domed pellets. The Crosman pellets seem to be a bit tighter sitting/fitted pellets than the RWS' - so they work a bit better with my break barrel. I usually shoot Gamo Match flat head pellets (best average target results for the price of the pellets, in my case) with my Sig Sauer MCX co2 airrifle. But I also tried out some RWSs with it. The grouping did not spread sideways any wider - but the grouping got a bit higher in form (probably because of weight differences and the co2 cooling effect while shooting 30 shots). But the funny thing was - the grouping had gone from the bullseye upwards with the RWSs. As if the RWSs would have shot higher and then came down to the bullseye along with co2 cooldown. But, I was still impressed with the MCX at 15 meters with a red dot and no magnification.

Ben you're awesome. Thanks for giving another Pellet company the chance to get some attention. I love the fact you are doing it with some blue collar working man's rifles. What a great idea!!! I wonder how well these pellets would group out of an expensive precision PCP rifle at 25 and 50 yards? I know most high end rifles like JSB pellets. What do you think the results would be out of the middle of the road priced Maurader with the Lothar Walther barrel? I would love to see more like this over time with other pellet companies: Air Arms, Crosman, Gamo, H&N, JSB/Predator, and Skenco. Awesome!!!

Well done Ben, good on ya mate. This is the kind of information I can use. I am well pleased with this info. and now, I am going to order a tin of all ten of these pellets, I only wish I could find the Umarex Fusion here at a Dealer in Canada. The Beeman WILL knock down, stone dead, some pest crows we had here. It's a surprisingly good CO2 rifle, in my humble opinion.

Ok I'm german. Meisterkugeln. Meister, sipel master. Kugeln, the germsn word for bullet. All together master bullets. Plural. Try Strassenbahnfarkartenentwertungsautomat . The longest german word. The two words are by the way spelled the old german way. Today the pellet make would be spelled in two words and the other in 3. That is precisely why german is one of the most difficult languages in the world.

@@peterbaugh51 The two languages are relatives like bother and sister. They are both of Germanic origin. Both were spoken in the old Germainia. If you look into it, it's unbelievable how related Germany actually is to England and how far they are apart today. I say one word and translate or make it sound engkishe "Batenberg" yes the cake. The cake made to honer the wedding of Pinces Victiria and Pince Alexander. Batenberg or Mount Baten ... the price of Mount Baten marines the Oueen of England to be. i am not impressed with RWS. i just bough some supermag (a wadcutter design) 9.3gr in .177. they are very hard to load into the barrel and they honestly dont perform any better than some cheap crosman pellets that cost half as much.
