1660 super got me through a lot of games , I really thought upgrading my old gpu would be enough but I guess Its time to upgrade the entire setup , A friend of mine told me way back when i bought this PC to invest in CPU a good cpu , I wish would listened to that advice

rx 580 released Q2 2017 1660S released Q4 2019 2,5 YEARS LATER.. a 1060 is same gen. Both discontinued cards so optimization drivers don't exist. with a controller both still can go on.

The 2304 is the 'actual' rx 580, iirc. The 2048 is practically just an rx 570 with 40Mhz higher Boost Clock (and on some model, slighty faster RAM clock). Therefore in most game at 1080p low/med setting, the 4gb 2304 should still outperform the 2048, despite lower VRAM amount

the 2048sp is just a scam since amd stopped producing these cards dont buy that, 1060 6gb or 1660 are better alternative if you are budget restrained. else go for RX6600 and remove the doubt.

Because 1660s is more powerful than rx 580 it doesnt bottleneck the cpu letting it do more work = more fps and 1% lows more stable gameplay Whereas Rx 580 caps out limiting the cpu potential

Despite having 2GB more vram, rx580 still pathetically loses to gtx1660 ti since AMD have abandoned the polaris and vega architecture, not optimizing new games, just updating their drivers for bugs fixing only.

You're comparing oranges and apples, Rx580 is comparable (in gaming performance) to GTX 1650 super. The 1660super/ti are gtx1070-level performance, there's no direct Amd competitor - vega56 is more powerful than those.

Tell me u dont know anything about gpus without telling me dont know anything rx 580 (2017) is ddr5 and gtx 1660s(2019) is ddr6 also i dont even need to mention the price difference between these 2 gpus try comparing gtx 1060 6gb which is the actual competitor of rx 580 and u will know which one is better also the real competitor of gtx 1660s is rx 5600 xt (which is actually cheaper then the gtx 1660s) then u will understand how much better AMD prices to performace ratio is so stop being a dumb kid

@@aliezan1705 1660 super price is around $250. RX5600XT was $280. the real competition fo RX5600 was 2060 not 1660s. Initially AMD was dead set to release RX5600 XT for $300. But before AMD release the card nvidia drop 2060 price to $300 to pressure AMD. Hence AMD have to settle for $280. But they really hammer their partner back then. Because despite selling the gpu at cheaper price than they initially want AMD did not reduce the price they sell the gpu kit to partners. Back then even AMD top partner (Sapphire) said it is almost impossible to build the card within it's $280 MSRP price.

there are no real RX 580 cards anymore since amd stopped producing them, there are refurbished ones like the 2048SP which are a scam and may have very short life span. Amd just killed one of its iconic card.
