1 is the front-most rotor in the factory ignition system. It all depends on which ignitor on the distributor is wired to which coil. The ignitors are the black boxes on the distributor. The "Leading" ignitor is the one closest to the front of the trike and the "trailing" ignitor is the one pointing to the alternator. Probably just have the wires from the ignitors to the coils around the other way. Also for factory timing, the stud in the slot for the distributor ends up almost center but slightly to the right. As long as the distributor is stabbed correctly in relation to TDC. I'm sure you're farther along than in this video, but maybe it'll help a little.

I learned about running a 13b rotary with no exhaust when building my 89 fc3s. Ear bleeding loud. I had a very similar setup with a side draft weber. Run a little 2 stroke mix in with the the gas if you're going to be beating this thing up. Also, look out for bad ignitors if you get a no-start situation.
@600wheel3 жыл бұрын
Hey guys when you end up building the exhaust for your rotary I heavily recommend doing some research because a rotary engine really likes a specific exhaust just like a two-stroke needs its pipe. For reference go to Angel motor sports a video titled how to make a loud RX seven exhaust that actually gains horsepower

@@la_plata3588 Yeah but the smart guys realize you can tune them and get a lot more power refer to Angel motorsports or anybody who puts any serious effort into building a naturally aspirated rotary motor and a lot of straight out the hood also have a turbo in front of them which changes everything and the reason I mentioned it in the first place is grind hard don’t tend to really half ass anything so if you’re designing and building your own exhaust you may as well do it right
