I am 76 years old and haven't been able to wear makeup for over 20 years, due to having essential tremors. Yesterday I was approved for a procedure that will stop my tremors so I can finally wear makeup and eat like a normal person. I can't wait !!!!

I just now found you so I am brand new! Thank you so much!!!! I absolutely needed YOU right now in my life!!! I am 65 years old , a rough year this past, for some reason about 2 weeks ago I was doing my hair as I do everyday, same mirror everything! All the sudden , I was really stunned! My face had changed so much, it seemed like it was overnight! I have to say that it honestly shook me inside! I know so many friends & family told me "You have to take care of YOU" They kept telling me "you have got to stop to take care of YOU or you won't be here to take care of anyone else" I really did hear that but it's just was not possible. Things are better, but they are not great by any means, but I have slowed down some and I guess, that is why I just was so shocked. In one solid year of an every single day situation of overwhelmingly unknown outcome, it was showing all over my face! I held my emotions in as much as possible during this past year not to worry others who did not have to know the finer details, when I slowed down long enough instead of just focusing on doing my hair, I saw someone that I did not even know. I just cried! I thought this is absurd for me to focus on my face in that way! Like it was just plain wrong for me to think like that, I felt some kind of pain so deeply inside it is hard to explain! Tonight when I saw your video I first saw the one on the new foundation by elf and then this one followed. When you said that about winkles, you said these wrinkles gave me a sense of peace and your video and applying your make up the way that you did and the results that were absolutely simply beautiful was a great comfort! So I just wanted to thank you for your kind words of encouragement and comfort! I lost one and 2013 and six months later my dad so I'm sure it's a combination. I took care of them both for over 20 years and they were some of the best years of my, life being able to spend that special time with them. I will always treasure those years! Anyway, I just want to compliment you on your beauty inside and out, your compassion, grace, commitment and heartfelt love to your many subscribers. Hey Patti, I wanted to share with you how much I enjoy your videos. You are an inspirstion to me. Im turning a young 74 in September. In May I had a total knee replacement surgery and was planning to get the other knee done when things took a turn in plans. I July I had a heart attack and I am waiting to have open heart surgery soon. After I have healed from that surgery I will have my other knee surgery done. Its a long road but I will survive and live a full productive life. You are a delightful person and A pleasant company to me as I am cofined to home mostly during this journey in my life. I was 83 on Sept 4..and been watching you since you met Jim..and we have grown old together. We love makeup..glad you found cheap makeup for us..because every cent counts now..boy it ever!! I love your eye color, it looks so pretty with our gray hair. The entire color pallets you choose for your fair skin looks absolutely gorgeous on you! I'm almost 62 and you are so correct; as you age, you have to apply our makeup differently as our face shape changes due to losing elasticity. I viewed the video of Wayne Goss you mentioned and you're correct, we have to apply the blush higher on the cheeks instead of the apples, because those apples fall and it distorts the face. Also, same with the eyeshadow, if you bring it out too far, the skin drops, making your eyes smaller and not lifted, for an open and fresh look. When you apply darker shadows, it's best to use a smaller brush to define the placement of that darker color. And yes, blending your eyeshadow and also your blush, makes the application seamless, without harsh lines. You enhanced your beautiful features in such a wonderful way and you are correct in that, as we mature, our face changes daily (we may have puffiness, redness or dryness...maybe all at once, or hopefully, just one daily change) so, you have to "tweek" your look every time, but if you have the basic fundamentals, your canvas (face) will shine that inner beauty every time! It was a pleasure watching your video and you have a new subscriber!
