@@ritalagrenade2747 Because as you age your skin around the eyes gets thinner. I noticed it on myself. Since I turned 40 my skin around the eyes gets thinner and thinner and red/blue.

Patti, I started using Seint a few months ago. I’m 55 and I have very dry skin. I have crepey under eyes and I’ve tried so many concealers. This makeup has completely changed everything for me. I do not sell Seint, but I can’t say enough about how much I love it. I use a setting spray after I’m done applying. I have never had any transfer. Not anything on my cell phone or clothing. I feel that the brushes are amazing and they really do make a difference when blending. I don’t solely use their brushes, but they I think they’re definitely a great purchase. I could go on and on. I highly recommend Seint products.

I am 82 years old . I was visiting a store , my face was facing the window, a woman walked in and I felt her eyes on me , finally she asked me if I was wearing foundation because she could not decide weather I was or not !. I told her about BareMinerals powder make UP , she loved the result and immediately left to purchase it . She made my day , it came at the right time because I had a bad day until then . Every time I try something else, I go back to my old love -Bare Minerals, it wears like iron , even in over 100 degree heat with 99 %humidity ! I must have sold a lot of it because I get asked about my face just walking down the street . I am just an old broad as Joan River used to say ! @@nowandthennn I have normal skin, but using the BM never made it feel drier, because it turns creamy with the warmth of your skin , it is just wonderful. I use a serum and moisturizer underneath.

@@nowandthennn I use a MINERAL VEIL , also by BM , over my moisturizer to remove any tackiness before applying the powder. The Veil is very clean, without any talk , no clogging of ones pores., it is made with cornstarch . You mentioned your dry skin- I apply hyaluronic acid as a first step (no acid involved ), there is no stinging and it is magic . It pulls moisture from the environment to your skin ! Nobody believes that my skin is 82 years old .It helps that I look much younger.

I just came across your video and consider myself a very mature skinned woman at almost 69 years old. Kimberly also was the artist who convinced me to take the deep dive, even though she was not the artist who did my colour match. I had been on the fence and had been contacted by individuals I knew but having mature skin compared to their flawless young skin was making me very hesitant. Watching Kimberley Weiner tipped the scale. The beginning of your video compared to the end should convince anyone to give this makeup a try! You are beautiful & you ROCK with confidence. I'm 58, and I couldn't find an older Seint rep either, but I ended up loving it so much that I became one myself, and now I know lots of older "artists" -- it's just harder to find us. Good Evening Patti!!! I find that makeup "Seints" rather clever and fun! Back in the early 70's their was a company called "Rubigo" and the makeup came in a beautiful small urn and they supplied you a few brushes large to very small. It was a fine, fine powder and came in different colors to match your skin. What you would do is apply it very lightly as your foundation, and increase the depth of color as you went along. Of course you'd have to use highlighter as you would, BUT, the great thing about it, it lasted it seemed forever. You would increase the depth on your cheeks for blush and even with the smaller brushes paint your nails and then apply clear top coat over (those were the more "natural looking times back then") and you could put in on your lips and then apply lipgloss over top or enhance it with another lipstick. This company is rather clever I'd say, you look amazing!! But then you always do, you are so fun and knowledgable and love you!! Thanks again!! Sue B

I loved your video so much. I appreciate your honesty a lot, too. Thank you for taking the time to review this Seint makeup. I am 73 and new to Seint and it was refreshing to see someone of my age addressing the same issues that I have. By the way, I did have a similar shipping issue that you had on my very first shipment, too. My artist contacted the company and they replaced my lip and cheek color very quickly. I live in Arizona so the tremendous heat here had a contributing factor to the melted mess of my product...but it was thrown into the box partially open, too. Anyway, now I take them from my mailbox to my refrigerator for awhile before I open them. Thanks again for your wonderfully candid video. I loved it and I learned a lot...I will be looking for Kim' videos.

Great video, i understand what you are saying with all these products at your disposal it can be overwhelming. I think you always look pretty. Like with anything it takes practice to get things just right. Be it cooking,cleaning,gardening and the same with makeups. Sometimes it's not the cosmetics it's how and how much you apply. It takes tweeking ,you have to know that just right amount and where it looks best on you. It doesn't seem to me the kind or brand name of the product matters. You get the skin tone match right and blend it well. You could make a video everyday with a different product,never tell me the name of it,and you would still look lovely! You are a sunshiny personality! Love ya,Patty! Have a blessed week!😘

Thank you for this excellent tutorial! You look stunning, as always. I am 72 and a fairly new Seint user. I have found that using one highlight at a time works better for me rather than the dot method. My very favorite Seint products are the "Demi" color correctors. They work beautifully to "disappear" redness and under eye darkness. It took me a while to master the system but I am very pleased with the results!

Hi Patti, thanks for sharing this new make-up! If I'm being honest, I don't think it looks as good on you as other videos where I've watched you get ready. Please understand, I say this with no malice whatsoever, just my honest opinion which is what I think you want. I too bought this makeup and was so excited to try it. I’m still learning how to use this as its quite different from the norm. Thru my research of watching different women, you can’t use anything with silicone it. Your makeup will not last. I found that to be true. One thing I will say my husband did comment on my makeup as he has never before. He said it made me look younger. Yea! I will be 68 in a few months so I’m no spring chicken. There are a few artist that really take the time and give you more info on how to use this makeup. Skincare and using water based products seem to keep your makeup on as silicone based does not. Some say you need a water based primer prior to makeup. I have purchased quite a bit of makeup and I will continue. I also follow Kimberly.

@@barbbethesunshine8632 no. I went with another girl. What I saw was everyone was doing in fast motion how to put makeup on in 2 minutes. Nothing was mentioned about the skin care used - no silicone or oils prior to makeup. I learned the hard way. I started watching the other women hoping to find someone closer to my age of mid sixties. Didn’t know you needed a,primer to get best effect of this makeup. I found a few artist that took their time in real time to explain what, why and when. Once you have seen 99% of these women in fast motion apply makeup I lose interest. I wanted what and why of application. I still like this makeup it just took too long to get what I needed to make it work for me.

One pallet containing all of one's makeup is very attractive, but at 84 I am calling it quits on more makeup. I have a cupboard full but always go back to my favorite Jane Iredale mineral powder foundation with SPF. The color is perfect and application is fast with some days just a light touch on my nose or more when I wish. My ELF setting spray takes away any powder look. A touch of mascara and I'm out the door. Ease and speed win the race for me but I'll always love your videos trying new products. You keep me in the know. ❤️

Patti, I am new to your videos, and I am soooo happy I found you. I am 77 ( but in no way as beautiful as you are with or without makeup). You are as charming and “real” as you are beautiful. Thank you for being so genuine with a heart for helping us see that we can take our walking canes and live out our golden years as a “diva.” I really like this makeup ( but I’ve liked everything you review). I spend too much on makeup that I don’t use or like. I think I’m going to follow your lead and try this, but I like some of your drugstore reviews, also… except I’ve been using only Elta tinted sunscreen as foundation with no powder because I’m afraid of it making lines more obvious. I have also used the IT foundation but thought maybe too heavy. I need some changes because no makeup stays (especially lipstick) and I exfoliate religiously. Daughter and grand have salon and they’ve been able to replicate my what was auburn hair with highlights, so I’ve always worn warm tones…probably totally gray now but just don’t think I can go gray, although I saw one of your videos, and yours was beautiful. Hi Patty! I had never heard of this product until this video. You really look beautiful as ever!! I love that it requires very little effort to apply and is so compact! I wil be 64 in 2 weeks and have begun to see wrinkles and hate the way some foundations seem to enhance those wrinkles! Really glad your trying this. Actually the first time I heard of it was about a year ago. It was because of a friend of mine was selling it and she would do live videos all the time of her putting it on and i think she is in her 40s-50s not too sure . She looked amazing! All the time ! Hi Patti - I do agree with an earlier comment on this eye make up, I think blue suits you much more and brings out your beautiful eye colour. I love your videos and all the tips you give us older folk on covering what we don’t want seen. I wish I could buy some of these products in the UK but I find I often can’t - the Seint range can only be bought from the US and shipping/custom charges are added. Sometimes the custom charges are really expensive so alas I try to get as close as I can with UK make up ranges. I’m loving the videos and your fabulous positivity, you not only look great but sound great too. Bravo! 👏🏻

I've been curious about Seint. It looks so beautiful and flawless on the young girls. But I will be truthful. Every time I've watched your videos I think what a beautiful woman you are. Seeing this Seint on you, I see makeup before I see your beautiful face. I like the, yes tedious open and closing, brands you normally use. The Seint is just too overpowering and too heavy on you. I'm 73 will be 74 this June. You do what you feel most comfortable with. I'm glad I saw your video first. Love your videos and the help you provide.❤

I went back to look again at your video of the Elf Camo Powder foundation, and I was really impressed with that look on you. I began using the Elf eyebrow pencil that you use, and I really like it. Carol, I am so glad you had the courage. I wanted to be honest in my opinion but didn’t want to ‘prick the balloon.’ This makeup seems to me to be more like theatre ‘greasepaint.’ Far too heavy - and I think also that the application would be better with gentle swiping of the brush as opposed to the stippling technique - it would blend better. But it is far too greasy and thick for me, and the yellow, no.

Hi Patti, I’ve been using Seint for a year and a half and have grown to really love it. When I received mine it was all bundled up in a plastic bag so it was basically kept in it’s place so I didn’t have any issues. I’m not crazy about the tackinesses but really don’t notice it throughout the day but I guess I’d rather be a little tacky then dry feeling. At least if feels like my face is hydrated.

Great video Patti! I've never heard of Seint products before but there's a lot to like. Having a palette where most is contained is Fantastic. You answered all my questions being thorough as always (even about powder and setting spray). The artist comes out in you when makeup is involved😍! I have quite a few wrinkles and creme foundations do settle in...I wonder if a primer would help?

Hi Patti. I'm just behind you a little bit. I'm 75! I've been watching you for awhile now and I can't think of a time that you've ever looked bad in any makeup you've tried. Honestly you look so good. You naturally exude beauty internally and externally. I'm in Panama City and always hoped to 'run into' you, but never did. We're still here. Hi Patti! I am 67 and have used the Seint makeup for about three years now. I use both this system and their Demi Colour (GREAT for under eye correction!) and I love them both! I use one of their brushes that applies it a lot lighter and it never settles in any lines or wrinkles. I’ve learned over the years too if I put it on heavier that I use a damp beauty blender too melt it more into my skin to avoid that pitfall. It truly lasts all day. If you find that it’s tacky throughout the day I think you’re just using too much. I love their Bella bronzer, it’s very comparable to the Chanel cream bronzer and it fits right into my compact. I don’t use their eyeshadows While I own a couple I find that they are a lot more expensive than any other per pan and don’t think they work any better so I just stick to my normal eyeshadows. But their brushes are well worth the money. I own a lot of higher end makeup brushes and after trying those with Seint I discovered that using their brushes I get the best application for their makeup so it was well worth buying those. Try the Demi Colour brushes! They work great too and are on sale right now. I do admit I was hesitant at first because I cannot stand them up with all my other brushes but you know what? I put them in a tray in my top drawer and I use THOSE at least 75% of the time over any others I own. Have fun playing with your new brand!

@@kimberlyweimer4348 I too didn't buy the brushes right off because I own a LOT of really good makeup brushes BUT they made a huge difference in application. I suggest anyone watch a video outlining the differences in how each brush applies the makeup b4 ordering. Some are made to apply it more full coverage (like the buff or IIID brushes and others are designed to apply it lighter (like the bff or brush and bronzer brushes) It really made a big difference for me. Sarah Martin has a great video and I suggest her for learning to use all the Seint IIID products! kzbin.info/www/bejne/mam4kJuOh5h1rs0 I find I love Demi Colour too and enjoy using that alone on no makeup look days or use Amanda Lee Hill's fusion method (using IIID and Demi together)when I want just a bit more.

Hi Pattie. I've got to tell you. Been trying different primers based on videos and one day my face just had red spots all over and stinging. I'm through with trying g new products at 83. I bought Aveeno to restore my face which took me 3 days to do so. Just going to stay with my same old stuff. The money I've spent on new foundation, primers and serums and lipsticks in the past 4 months is unbelievable. Let the younger women do it. I was looking at the older women at church this past Sunday. My husband commented to me "you look stunning, some of these ladies look like their ready to clean house." I'm finding many women over 80 don't fuss as much with makeup. Bottom line ladies don't go switching new products as tempting as it looks, I've suffered 3 days with my face burning and itching!
