This guy is so well rounded when it comes to parkour, and breakdancing, and just acrobatics period. It's just amazing to know that theres someone out there that I would like to be as good as one day, but never will. :)

Going to the place has literally been my dream for years now. Simply amazing. Though I don't like how commercial Ryan has become, there is no denying his heart is in the right place. I love what he has to say, and how he moves. Enough with the flips aren't parkour comments. If you take a minute to stop competing with others verbally and physically, you will find that everyone has something to offer one another. To me that is parkour.

@HardStylePheoX it means i'm 25 years old. the way i move is the effect of 25 years of living my life, from the moment i opened eyes and seen 2 hands and 2 feet, thats when i started painting my life with a constant progression, we all did :) no one has had the exact same life, so were paint a unique reflection of it

Such an amazing video. Inspirational and beautiful. This is the personification of the art of movement. Art through the expression of one unified entity; body, mind, soul, spirit. Peace and parkour

i think that a very little number of 17,409 people who watched this beautiful video understood the meaning. what about me, i think that Ryan is the one of the biggest followers of philosophy of parkour, he is making art from nothing, from space, form his own body. its very sad that most of us new comer traceurs looking at parkour like thing of relaxation, of fun and not like philosophy... big respect Ryan and good luck in all =)

Falling hurts... real bad. But when you get up, try it again, and finally get it, you are actually PROUD to have fallen when trying, as you have learned from it. The more I do it, and the more I see that falling isn't failing, it's evolving.... even if it still hurts

@KAIN1411 flips and other creative movements are only necessary if they are relevent to achieving your goal/destination... so its completely arbitrary and personal. go to my website and listen to me explain that freerunning is just part of parkour training. ryandoyle.co.uk

The moment I heard you speak I knew you were from northern England and I thought of Liverpool because your accent sounds exactly like John Lennon's! PS: Great video, great skills, great sport!

@alexparkours i kinds have to agree with you there :) this was a 10 shoot with 90% more action, the editor got lazy and cropped everything good out of it and made it only 3 mins, instead of 15mins, there was so much i did,... for nothing. it was disappointing really, i had no say in the edit :(

"You can't just go jumping on people's rooftops" he said, sitting on a rooftop he just landed a kong-gainer on. Stay safe Ryan! :)

@ryandoyle13 жыл бұрын
@Zelre Thanks Zelre, Any1 thats tell you how to do parkour is promoting a Sport and a set way. or they're arrogant and are basicly sayin "your doing it wrong... coz you dont move like me" lol some people are just closed minded, and other just want to be heard. :)
@Yakushii13 жыл бұрын
@freerunner625 Yes! I love seeing things like that. Do you reckon doing an aerial on a slanted wall is easier? I can't pull off a real aerial yet (almost got it).

could you tell me where you got the pants with the slits in them?
@ryandoyle13 жыл бұрын
@KAIN1411 you stiill think of parkour on a physical level... only. it depends on what you believe.. is parkour just a way of getting to a destination... physically? or is it about achieving goals and overcoming the obsticals that get in your way? it is efficient thinking, it just depends on what the aim is. my goal in this video is not a destination... its to create art. so the flips are relevent to me achieving my goal... i dont expect any1 to understand... its personal
@xHunteR55S13 жыл бұрын
hey ryan isnt that what you doing free run ? 'cause parkour is flow with much momentum thats possible , or not? i mean a flick flack flashkick doesn't bring much momentum to flow forward or?? whatever , you are just a god for me ^^ i love to see your videos 'cause they are one of the best parkour/free run videos on youtube!!!

Movement is movement, how you choose to move is entirely up to you, Parkour is about you and your style reflects your life, there should be no disagreement with how someone chooses to move, it's like telling someone how to live their life, just not right at all!

Just a reminder: Parkour is extremely dangerous, even for professionals. Here’s a video of Ryan Doyle describing how he almost lost his leg. Be careful.
@griffinjennings52113 жыл бұрын
@boarderbropro parkour is you training your body. you can watch tutorials to learn moves, but ultimately, you need to practice to get used to your body.
