What a shame that these two amazing songs came up against one another-if ever there was an occasion for a dual winning nomination this is surely it? Watched this thing live. It was slightly towards the end of the show and we'd so been waiting for Ryan and the Kens to do this thing. And then finally the lighting was getting pink and he was down there behibd Margot with his sparkling cowboy hat on - because he still kinda wishes patriarchy was about horses 😅 - and we were all screaming like teenage girls in our pajamas. ^^ I genuinely think the Academy nominated this great song just to see Ryan and the Kens perform it live. FYI: Every single nominee for best original song would have deserved it this year. Those five live performances were five major highlights!

Now we just need Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet, Anne Hathaway, and Gal Gadot to appear in a Barbie sequel, with Emma Stone as Barbie’s best friend Midge who’s in love with Ryan’s Ken, and Cillian Murphy as Human Ken in the real-world, who’s Sasha’s (Ariana Greenblatt) teacher, and the love interest of Margot’s human stereotypical Barbie (Barbara Handler) in a Barbie sequel whenever Greta and Margot are planning on doing it right after when Greta gets done filming Chronicle of Narnia on Netflix. I DO hope that the original actors like America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Kingsley Ben-Adir (who also played Raggae singer Bob Marley in Bob Marley: One Love) Scott Evans, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Dua Lipa, and John Cena (Mermaid Ken) appear in the sequel too. Also, I think they should bring back Mark Ronson to compose and write more songs for the sequel (probably make it a musical this time) and probably for a Ken movie and Allan spin-off. We definitely need a musical broadway. Let’s start a petition!
