Ryan Lowe leaving Preston this season doesn’t surprise me but it happening this early does, Ryan has definitely lost the respect of the Preston fans and should have gone at the end of last season. Going forward for Preston I think they need a coach who can bring the fan base together and make them feel a part of the club, someone like David Wagner imo would be perfect for Preston

Best thing Preston can do is call Tony Mowbray he’s looked well on the pitch at boro at half time and if Preston can get him he’s a proven boss at this level who immediately gets rid of any fears of relegation and will steady the ship

I’m a Boro fan as you can guess if we lost Carrick I’d happily take Mogga back what he did with us with the worst team ever and no money at all was fantastic if he was at the club now with the money we luckily have which isn’t much but we can buy some good players I’d fancy him to take us up but in Carrick we trust he’s the main man I love him but if anything was to go wrong I’d take Mogga back 1000%

I’d suggest David Wagner as your next manager. The squad you’ve got suits exactly what he wants with the experienced players at their best. I remember him being quite complimentary about Preston before we played at Deepdale last season. I feel that he can also re-establish that fan-club relationship which seems Lowe has tarnished. His football varies in how your form is at the time but he always has a squad 100% behind him no matter what. I know it seems weird for me to suggest someone who we’ve just sacked but I don’t think you’re a club where you are as reliant on the academy players getting into the first team as we were and I’m sure your fans won’t be as demanding on the style or play as we were as we were spoilt by Farke. I think it would be a pretty similar appointment to Alex Neil although I’d say Wagner would probably accomplish more. After a few years as well and if he got the players he wants I’m sure you’d be able to play the gegenpressing style he wants to in the championship but he could equally take you to the play offs. I have no idea if he’s someone your board would consider and what your fans would think of it but I just think he’d be the perfect appointment.

If I was a manager wanting to really mess up a club I'd act exactly as Lowe has done. Wait until the 1st game and then leave. Got to ask questions of Ridsdale, needs to be alot more ruthless. Can't help but look at all the good players we have let go on frees in the past few years as well instead of selling, Pearson, browne etc

I agree with your assessment Lowe was always on borrowed time this season made some terrible comments in the media, had a habit of alienating senior players, Patrick Bauer springs to mind last season, refusing to play certain players because of his ego had an obvious detrimental affect on results. Perhaps Lowe wanted to give the club and fans a "f*** you" message and this was his way of doing it. It's made far more impact than if he'd left in May/June, and the club has to find a new manager just as the new season starts.

What's your point? Lowe took Argyle up from League 2 and was doing well in League 1. We've mostly been on an upward trajectory both on and off the field for the past 5 seasons. And we'll survive this season despite having one of the smallest budgets in the Championship

Its a roller coaster ride supporting PNE and I wouldn't have it any other way! Sometimes we play like Brazil and others we are almost as crap as the lashers!
