@wulfrache you're right, I have carried up to 40kg in a backpack on some challenges, the bathtub is much more difficult to manoeuvre despite it being less, to be fair the hello kitty bag adds more problems as it is a kids school backpack that isnt designed for mountains, the straps go thin and cut into the shoulders like cheese wire, I am currently upgrading it, I am not in competition with anyone, though, only myself and striving to be a better me every day. Much love, my friend 😊🫶💚💛

@@mandogundam5779 Reynolds is a class act. Not many in that profession come close to his remarkable character, but when he honours someone- because they are so remarkable that they humble him - you know that John Bell must be a great example of a hero. While it would be absolutely amazing, that other actors with huge platforms (and bank accounts) get into the game, it’s more important that the world is full of regular people - like John - doing amazing things.

as someone with ASD that didn't get much support from his parents when he was bullied in middle school, my advice is to just let her know she's safe with you and can be HERSELF. don't shame her for her interests, no matter how nerdy they are or how little you feel you "get it". don't nitpick at how she carries herself at home when she DOES feel safe and relaxed. if i were to guess, she's entering an age where she's likely learned that she needs to mask or hide her autistic traits to be accepted by peers and strangers. she may feel more self-conscious than ever, more harshly judged. support is crucial, and just being there and actually listening to her express her passions for whatever she likes may make all the difference for her. YMMV, but i wish her and you both the best. good luck out there. the world can seem stacked against us, but we're all in this together.

This comment means a lot to me. Thank you for taking the time to say this, I am not dismissing other comments, just slowly working through them around family time, etc. All my life, I have looked for positive male role models to hopefully be a better person myself as I suffered from OCD and emotional irregularities, leading to impulsive decisions, I have finally found the right role model, and it took for me to go deep inside and question every fibre of myself of how I let my son down, I found I only let myself down, so now I set my own standards and my own limits, and take full accountability for myself and my own actions, and it warms my heart that the person I have become inspires you and many more, I hate that I had to lose my son to find myself, and know who I want to be, but I dont think I ever lost Jake, as I feel him with me, every step I take. Yet another reason why I adore Ryan Reynolds. John, I can not imagine the grief you carry. That bath tub must seem quite light in comparison. My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry for your loss. If grief truly is love persevering, you must have loved him so damn much.

Sometimes our darkest hours, are what give us the strength to push through to our brightest and best days. Having suffered a catastrophic injury that left me with some long term problems, I had an NDE, and from what i can recall, I can tell you for a fact that you will see him again.

1:38 Mental Health is one of the most not talked about among men and thats inspiring of you talking about it and telling a story about your late sun adds the necessary spices to it all that as men lets cry by telling our stories to reduce mens suicide late in this century, your sons story is not ending in UK, it has reached to me here in Malawi Africa so i say keep the memory alive while advocating the mental health issue.

I wish John could spend some time with my parents. We lost my little brother to a strange accident and there really hasn’t been any closure. I really vibe with his position on mental health because he knows what that darkness feels like and I am in the ‘One foot in front of the other’ squad. Much love to you and your son, John. We’ll see them again someday but until then they’d want us to stay and help.

I used to work with John years ago in Mansfield, in a pub called The Red. He was a doorman in there every now and then, I was just a glass collector but even then he was one of the nicest blokes ive ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always had a chat and made people feel at ease, when i found it difficult talking to people in general he made it easy, and its something that stuck with me for along time even if he didnt know it. Its amazing to see how far hes come and all the awareness hes raised in Jakes name. Keep up the amazing work bud, we need more people like yourself in the world ✌

Not much makes me cry in this world, but this definitely did. Everyday since the passing of his son, he fights an impossible battle within to stay alive. I too have a son, my only child in this world. If anything were to happen to him, I’m not sure I’d have the same strength as this father. Rest in Peace to his little angel. 👼

I am sitting here at work, thumbing through youtube to waste time. I come across this, and I almost start crying. My wife gave birth to our baby only 4 months ago, and I can't even imagine the toll it would take on me to lose him. The love is something so different and special. It truly changes your world. You're a good man, and I am glad you chose this to the alternative. You're giving people hope. Keep on keeping on, man. Stay amazing!
