In Hamden ( Connecticut ) where I live - seniors had to attend school the day of prom or you couldn't go.

*I missed my Prom-Night when I went to my Blackford High School in early 1980's.* *I never even got to go to any High School Football games either.* *Cause I was forced to go to a High School (outside of my district) 16 miles away. -- To Far.* *I would of gone to Piedmont High (my district) a mile away,,, but they had No* *(disabled learning program) integrated into their high school, like Blackford High had back then.*

Hi Ryan's mom Sam commenting.. you're Ryan looked so handsome l love pink on guys ❤ my other son my youngest son Rhys is the same age as Ryan but here in the UK they don't have a prom they just have a wee barbecue and everyone signs their school jumper so thats him officially left just has a few exams to do and then he is finished 😢 they grow up so fast 😊😢😮

There are schools in Scotland that have prom so it’s not the entire UK that don’t do prom. My nephew is going to his at the end of this month.
