I bought Micho Russell's "Ag Deanamh Ceoil" back when he was about 70, and this was one of the first tunes I taught myself. (I was hanging around the musicians apparently necessary to the production of Irish music, and I thought a little wisdom would behoove me. And then of course watching a vid of Joe Cooney playing it!! is enough to make me thank God/dess!) I think you play the ending a bit differently than Micho does. I like both versions [settings?], but I've heard many muscians say of Micho that he doesn't play ALL the notes, but he sure understands which ones to leave out. I could send you a copy of that page from Micho If you let me know how.

I am so happy! I was able to play until you got a little faster. It is okay I learned already 6 tunes thanks to you father ! I printed all the tunes you teach. I stop the video sometimes to practice. I am finally playing :-) Bless you

Does anyone else feel like the transition between the second to last part and the last part, where you do the high bit, doesn't flow as easy? I'm trying to figure it out, listening to ryan play here sounds better than when I'm playing, so I can't hear why it doesn't gel as easy for me. Everything else is great thank you for the tutorial :)
