I had to put one of my dogs down yesterday, had 0 time to prepare for it. So, the next few days of uploads should be fine, but afterwards, either my reactions are going to be extremely lackluster or i may miss uploads. I don't know. They were related because Marika and Radagon are the same person so Radagons children with Rennala are half siblings with Godfrey's and Marika's

You are looking at Elden ring LIKE it’s Skyrim or Witcher 3. You need to read the items… that’s how you know and get info on characters. Most of it is not gonna be because someone outright told you. It’s up to you to dig up the info. That’s the FROMSOFT WAY

Really excited for this! I mentioned before that real world alchemy is a big deal in Elden Ring but Miquella in particular came up a lot when comparing the character roles to texts I read. This is going to go over so many peoples heads but bear with me. I am under no doubt that Miquella is meant to represent both The Inner Gold and the Philosopher's Stone. It makes sense considering his youth, academic mind, and the fact he is the oldest living child of Radagon and Marika (Malenia is explicitly described as being the youngest in the Japanese version). The fact he is the son of a Rebis (Marika/Radagon being the same), not only that but a Rebis that likely went through a complete Magnum Opus ritual (implied in dialogue, likely nigredo and albedo stages achieved before Renala entered the picture since lunar energy is needed at this point, Citrinitas and Rubedo after reuniting with Marika) further drawing the connection. The thing that makes me curious is Miquella being Trina implies he's also a Rebis, however I doubt think this is the case. If he's already meant to be to represent such a complete being he wouldn't need to do another ritual so Trina is likely his Anima, a feminine subconscious force inside of men. Trina being a sleep deity would support this, but if we are getting another Magnum Opus then Trina will have to play the role of White Queen to Miquella's Red King which I suspect Mohg doesn't want.

Well, right now, Trina is a mutated flower in a hole seeping a nectar that puts people eternally to sleep. When you collect the remnants of Miquellas Great Rune she begs you to stop him from ascending. So what would that represent?

@@S.A.F.T.I Trina is Miquella's other half and I am now convinced she is indeed meant to be the White Queen to Miquella's Red King but still has the subconcious association given to an anima and animus, but it seems in Elden Ring seduction and betrayal play huge roles thus Miquella also plays the White Queen to Mohg/Radahn's Red King. This lines up uncomfortably well with how Marika and Radagon treated Godfrey and Rennala. The White Queen is meant to be a passive force turning inward and downward rooting herself and coming to a realization Miquella was unable to see, or if he could thought the ends justified the means which is heavily supported. My idea is that both sides of Miquella are conflicted on whether his atrocities are justified or not in the efforts of creating a better world, Trina's sleep abilities might be this passivity in action and a form of cruel mercy like Miquella's compulsion. Keep in mind I am no expert and you might see connections I have missed.

@@calebgoodman3028 Nah, that's pretty much what's going on. Trina was just a follower who believed in him, but knows that becoming a God is the single worst thing a person could be. A realisation that probably drove Marika to do what she did. This 'White Queen/Red King' dynamic is apparently a running theme with Marika and Radagon only being unique in that they're the same person, which is funny. They're even colour-coded for convenience! But I generally figure that, Trina is wholly supportive of Miquella. It's just the one aspect of his plan she really wants you to stop. That and of course continuing FromSoft Souls-Likes recurring themes of cycles and failing to learn from the past. Like Messmer with the Shadow Lands mirroring Marika and Godfrey's genocide of the Giants. Alchemical philosophy seems to be a heavy influence in the games lore. Which I find rather fascinating, considering the high fantasy setting. You'd usually only get aspects like that in dark fantasy. Anyway, Elden Ring looks deep, but is actually another bottomless pit for me to trip into like a dope.

@@S.A.F.T.I Funnily enough, from what I read Marika and Radagon's version is surprisingly the more accurate portrayal. The King and Queen are just separated aspects that underwent putrefaction and purification. The marriage of the king and queen represents the reunion of these aspects uniting masculine and feminine qualities as one.

Oh that comment about Godwyn's statue kind of made me realize something. In history or atleast archaeology regarding statues of old rulers, saints, and what not usually are depicted in a way that the person is good, kind, gentle. But in truth is actually of the opposite. I wonder if Godwyn the Golden was indeed a "good" person but only in the eyes of the Golden Order, if he embodied the same values as the Golden Order of course he would be regarded as good and be displayed as an example right? So Godwyn could've been the perfect golden boy of Queen Marika, meaning he could have done things that the Golden Order deem as righteous such as disdaining Omens and Misbegottens. In the Winged Dames song of lament there is a lyric "Aureum cui irascebaris?" "Golden One, at whom are you so angry" I wonder if this is targeted towards Marika, her Golden Order, or Godwyn, The Golden. edit: Ah, I forgot he's literally the reason why Dragons and Golden Order conjoined.
