If you don't want to get too many spoilers about the DLC, I won't watch the rest of this comment, but the DLC changed a lot of things about our perception of the lore, firstly the greater will is not an outer god, she is the god who created himself the elden ring universe, life was actually created by it and the erdtree is almost certainly not a parasite, there probably was an older tree but the erdtree was almost certainly not born parasitizing this tree, it was much more likely born from a crucible and emerged from the energies of life mixed in it

No, it's probably actually a parasite. Everything related to the crucible is sinful in the golden order, so it would certainly be very contradictory if the Erdtree and the crucible were the same entity.

@@pedrohenriquecerqueira3883 but they are, what the DLC made clear is that there is not just one crucible, there are several, this is just the joining of a bunch of life forms together, the gate of divinity is also a crucible and the erdtree was also one, the erdtree was never sent to consume some ancient tree because there simply wasn't one at the time, the crucible literally is the primordial form of the erdtree, it's not a different thing they are literally the same thing in different stages and the lore of the DLC leaves the understand that there may have been countless trees born from crucibles

Well Greater Will is kinda The Concept of Order, Life ( Red ) could exist without Order ( Gold ). But it's nothing more than a "cancer". It's more complicated and kinda metaphorical, but there's just too much for a YT comment. "Giving life it's fullest brilliance" after all. Not life itself.

the next one is "the demigods explained" but I would wait to get further into the game to see this one as it delves more into the characters and I think it would be more interesting for you to learn and explore the history of these characters while playing and then go to this video and recontextualize the story of these characters for you

Hm, yeah, this Guy’s Video really is the best way to fully learn the Lore, i wonder which you’ll do next, perhaps you should finish the Game First though.
