Thank you for the details. I have a relatively high income and have three rentals, one flip, 5 distressed homes I’ve remodeled from wholesalers since 2019. I learned that fir my time, flipping is not worth the energy and stress. Although it was successful. It was 3-4 months of subs not showing up, unexpected expenses $170k rehab. I made every mistake. Rentals is a slow game. Appreciate you saying the truth that the cash flow ($500/unit) is not anything to live off of. Just not sure how I’m suppose to scale.

I could be a king on 100k, I’m married I have a son. Iv never cleared more than 40k per year from my chef job . I have no outside family neither does my wife. But I get it everyone is different, many people waste money they don’t have. we are very frugal lived off of food banks for 3 years after we got married bc I only made $8.50 per hour washing dishes.we came from complete trash and had no one but each other . I now have multiple 6 figures from my investments and saving as much as possible. I drive an old truck a wear Walmart clothes. I’m only 30 btw been on my own since 15 both parents went to prison. I’m now looking to start/buy a business to provide for my wife and son. With a 6 figure income I would already be a millionaire no doubt, but again I understand most people are different.
