I think using a whole house system ,Venus rules my 2nd and 9th houses. Venus is in the 9th house. I was thinking what you were saying when I was I sung and performed (danced, moved ,whatever) in few bands and bang on those timbales somewhat on stage. I think you said something about Venus and music I didn't like the music most of people in my neighborhood listened to. l was more into Electric Flag, Spirit , Iron Butterfly type of music.

Thanks for the videos Ryan! They are very educational. I have Venus exalted in the 12th house (26deg) very close to it's highest point of exaltation. It's my 2L and 7L. Are Venus time periods going to be good/challenging? Intuitively, since it's exalted and gains directional strength, it should give good results. On the other hands, it's a Maraka planet for Aries ascendant and that too sitting in the 12th house of loss, so it might indicate loss of wealth(2H) or loss through wife/marriage/partnerships(7H). What's your take on this?

Jupiter always benefits Venus, but Venus doesn't always benefit Jupiter. Jupiter "delights" any planet he conjuncts.

I think my Venus is really bad. Mine is less than 2 degrees away from Saturn in Capricorn. And my whole Venus Mahadasha sucked. My Venus is a functional malefic, marakesh, dusthana lord, and Amatyakaraka. I'm a female BTW. Edit: Hmmm .... She's in my third house so I guess I have lovely arms. Perhaps lovely communication but I don't think that's true. I do love reading though. She rules 7th and 12th. I don't really like relationships that much. But I really enjoy being alone and meditating and being in my bed and feeling spiritually liberated. I'm not into travelling though. So ya she aspects the 9th house. I'm not a traveller, I'm kind of meh towards my dad. I do get crushes on male mentors/teachers all the time. I've always been like that. I love learning. But I couldn't finish university. You need to take them both into consideration. Venus is important as a natural karaka as well as house lord in D1. In D9, Venus is very important to see our capacity to remain devoted to marriage or our path.
