I'm an EMT and one of my stations are right next to a busy train track. Constantly throughout the night and all day trains go by blaring the horns (because of the homeless people that live literally next to the tracks) and shaking the whole station.

I’m making pickle soup! I love these videos. I’m from MD where Ryans from. I recently lost my crummy corporate/govt job suddenly and and after decades working soul sucking jobs I’m taking time to rethink my life. I’ve always loved van/tiny home life and follow lots of bloggers (but never posted a comment before). I spend a lot of time alone already (with my dog) and I’ve always fought loneliness like it’s a bad thing or an illness but Ryan inspired me with something he posted about how loving being alone because if you love yourself your own company pleasant. (Paraphrasing). Ryan - ur videos do more good for people than you know. You’re a neat guy. I hope my 19 yo old son is like you someday. Your parents did well!

Watching you cook in your kitchen with different backdrops for each meal is really enviable! You should try "better than bouillon" for your small kitchen. They are small jars of broth concentrate, they lasts forever in the fridge, come in lots of flavors and taste way better than boxed broths for any of your recipes. A nice space saver and you never have to deal with left over broth.

Hwy 101, Pacific Coast Hwy. I lived in San Jose and San Diego for a while. PACIFIC coast hwy is a gorgeous drive, I drove it from San Francisco to San Diego. This is making me miss California.

Are you on CA 101, or CA 1? CA 1 is the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), that winds down right on the coast. The 101 is mostly inland, hugging the coast here and there. I've driven the PCH from Monterey to LA a few times, and it is wonderful. I did it in a Porsche. A big van might be a bit challenging.

Amazing looking soup gonna have to give it a try. Thanks for the videos.healin a broken ankle and they've kept me entertained. Deffenitly gonna pick up a sweater cause they are badass!! Be sure to get studs or new tires and add some studs or spend some good money on chains. Roads in the winter in a big 2wd van are not fun. Drove one for a couple winters Makin deliveries and that was just in town and on local backroads and I slipped all over. Be safe and enjoy your travels. You make me wanna hit the road everyday. Lol

Whereas topography refers to the arranging of features of an area like in a map or an atlas. I’m thinking that’s the one you mean haha! I admire your confidence, especially around strangers. Like in the grocery store, for example, I would be so uncomfortable walking in somewhere with a camera strapped on, and I don't even know why.
