I am pleasantly surprised by how many people are willing to give up their time and effort to help and serve riders on the trail. With all the apparent division going on in the States, then it kind of fills me with joy to see that regardless of anyones political views, if you meet on the trail, then you help each other and show your true nature with a smile. Inspiring as always Duzer. Can't wait for more.

wow, wow...wow. Man what an amazing ending to a tough but beautiful day of riding. That breakfast was amazing and the trail angels and that dinner and dessert was just icing on the cake. This summer I rode across country and had some amazing experiences as such. Dinners, beer, wine and even money. Touring shows how this world is full of good humanity and a lot less negative than what the media tells us. Congrats and thank you for sharing.

I cycled across Europe last year and have many other adventures planned. I am from Montreal, Canada and am moving to Hamburg, Germany in 2021. So if you are ever in my neck of the woods please touch base. Until then Ryan, keep the videos coming. I hope my little contribution through Patreon helps in some small way. Content like yours is tough to produce and I know that you know there are people out there who truly appreciate and enjoy the show. Take care and see you soon.

Inevitably on long distance journeys, the visual images you see of the scenery and the road slowly fade away -- but the people you meet while riding tend to last forever and are never forgotten. Rolling into that campground is a story you will now tell for a lifetime.

Wow! How cool! I have not toured nearly as much as you have but this video just shows all the great people you meet along the way and in the most unexpected places. Quick story, 10 years ago I was touring with 2 friends in Alaska. We were climbing this road called 13 mile hill. A pickup truck passed us going the other way. A few minutes later here comes the truck up behind us. We weren’t sure what was going to happen. A guy jumps out of the truck and walks up to us and holds out a stocking hat. Says saw this on the road back there a figured it belonged to one of you guys. Sure enough it belonged to one of my friends and it had fallen off his bike. From that we also learned that there was a roadhouse 5 miles ahead and we should definitely stop there because the food was so good. We has a great meal and my friend had a warm hat for that evening. Love the trail angels!,

If a guy was to decide on leaving out one item from the crap menu you described, I would have to say leave the soda and drink clean, unpolluted water. Though most of the "food" items to select from at a convenience store are crap, some are definitely a better choice than others. I would think that one could plan in advance enough to mail food packages to places you will visit and eat a whole lot better. Nothing new, through hikers have been doing it for years. Thanks for sharing. I am always inspired by watching your videos.

On climbing trips, I used to take beans, oats, pasta, spinach and tuna. Sometimes 8-10k calories a day of it. Pretty much all you need to live. The canned stuff is really heavy, but the tuna and Popeye's spinach is worth it's weight 10x over for recovery. These days I could replace the canned tuna with pouches to save weight. But not sure how long I could live without beans. Oats are just fine raw if you don't have a stove.

Great video! I would be stopping at 6:20 and would look to see what type of stones are in the cut out in the side hill. I think it could have some milky quartz ( white stone). It would be great to make a belt buckle from some stone in the area. The locations you passed would be great for camping without city lights. I would like to setup a small telescope and view from that location most of the late night. It looks like a great area to tour when I retire.

Too old and already has a kid... He should aim for someone 21-27 and have a few kiddos of his own with. (women lose 90% of their eggs by age 30, and after 30 it also increases the chances for the baby to have autism and other illnesses) so a nice young woman in her early 20s, gives them a year or 2 to get to know each other and plan to have a few kids.
