Thx for telling us. We don't use the word rile anywhere in the world, apart from UK. I wouldn't understand even if I was using the world time to time. A letter or 2 being spoken softly, or not all is ok in some words. Pronouncing 1 letter in a 4-letter word is too hard for normal people to understand.

oh wow, we also have The Chase in Germany. It's called Gefragt - Gejagt here and has been running since 2012. I didn't know it was a British show.

@@tamielizabethallaway2413 No, they have a different Showmaster and Chaser. It's similar to "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". The show has been airing since 1999, and I always thought it was from the USA. The show is also broadcast in many other countries, each with its own showmaster.

Not only that. She committed suicide by standing herself in the neck. Apparently the scene was horrific. UK reality shows have a lot to answer for. They care more about getting laughs at other peoples expenses. They go out their way to upset and make people look like fools. She isn't the first to kill herself over a humiliating experience on reality TV. It actually is shocking how many its taken. So f'in sad. Poor girl.

At the end ,The "Chaser" who is one of 6 Chasers who rotate(including The Beast,who you desribed) said "I feel good about that" and the Host said "Blimey,did she rile you?" i.e. Upset you. Sadly, that Woman on Simon's X Factor show stabbed herself to death in 2019.

I was actually happy that Ryan didn't understand what was being said sometimes. As a German, I understand American English very well, but British is hard. Especially with dialects. I didn't understand a single word of what the lady who left the helicopter said.

We still commonly (over a certain age, anyway) think of our weight in terms of stones and pounds in many parts of Britain. A stone is a very old measure of weight equivalent to 14 pounds, so for instance 14 stone 4 pounds = 200lbs (90.7 kg). We do use kilos as well but we do not measure such amounts in just pounds, as seems common in the States.

Katie Hopkins did lose the weight again. Fortunatley we don't see her on TV much anymore because she would say the most vile things and she was constantly getting sued for libel. Some of he low-lights include..... Critisising parents who name their children after places, only then for someone to point out one of her children was called India..... Getting arrested in South Aftica for overdosing on Ketamine and losing her house to pay costs to a poverty campaigner that she accused of vandilising a war memorial. (She admitted she got the accused the wrong person, but refused to apologise..... There is at least 2 WatchMojo videos of the top 10 times she got humiliated for saying stupid things on TV and a video where a KZbinr pranked her into receiving an award, the name of which I can't say here.... But definitely worth a watch

@@JustJokes-bw4fs I'm from England, UK and I have to convert my weight from stones and pounds into Kilogrammes if needed. My height in feet and inches to metres, and drive in miles not Kilometres. I'm sure the US was also signed up to the Metric system, but nobody told the civilians. However, after losing a few spaceships into Mars, all US scientists etc have to use the Metric system. The Metric system is the only thing that the French did right.

The crazy lady with the dreadlocks had a sad ending. She was mentally ill and suffered from schizophrenia, she took a cocktail of drugs and cut her own throat. She lay dead in bed for days before anyone found her.
