Although David Gest (who was the one in the house) made a joking reference to it in a tour he was going to perform a few months later called 'David Gest is not dead, but alive with soul'. Unfortunately a few months before he was to start the tour, he himself died.

2:30 this is a British TV show called ‘come dine with me’ and it’s basically a bunch of strangers that each have to host a meal at their house on one of the nights of the week. They have to create a menu, and sometimes provide entertainment to increase the enjoyability of their night of hosting. This is because at the end of the night all the contestants go home and as they ride home they rate the night out from 1-10. Jane had probably one of the worst nights but people vote around 5-7 to be polite which means the scores are normally pretty high and close together. Anyways, Jane purposely voted low for each person even though their nights were decent so she won because the votes were purposely lowered.

I think the show where they joked “David’s dead” is big brother. It’s where a load of people are locked in a house together and the public watch as there are cameras recording 18 hours a day and they do challenges and vote each other out each week.

The show was "Celebrity Big Brother, Series 17" NOT the "Big Brother" Series. Two entirely different shows of the same franchise. In the "Celebrity" Series, the participants have some past or present claim to notoriety or fame. Except in one particular "set up instance", they were all "Known" individuals. In this particular show, the participant "David" Gest was a well known American Promoter, TV personality, Friend of Michael Jackson and ex husband of Liza Minelli. The elderly skinny blonde participant was Angie Bowie, the ex wife of "David" Bowie, of whose death she was referring 🙄.

Interesting definition of 'Iconic', though there's only so many times you can cope with old clips of Coronation Street, I guess... I must admit, Michael Jackson & the Beckhams have a lot to answer for when it comes to baby names. Girls' names have long included the names of many flowers, but Brooklyn is the name of a bridge - it would be like calling some poor kid Blackfriars, or Hammersmith - and the result would be the same - they'd get bullied mercilessly, throughout their entire education! And as for Blanket - well, draw your own conclusions... If you ask me, it borders on child abuse to give a child such a ridiculous name, and is at the very least, extremely selfish of a parent to do that without considering what the future life of their child might look like.
