@@fdauhajre for diabetes an endocrinologist. If you are prescribed by a GP there is a good chance your insurance will not cover it. Full cost is north of $1,300

I have diabetes type 2. For over a year my blood sugar was uncontrollable, even with healthy eating, exercise and 1000 MG of metformin did not help. Even insulin shots didn't work. I tried rybelsus and after like 2 days OMG! sugar has been completely under control! I'm always in the green now when I check my sugar levels. I continue to eat properly and started back working out , this has been the BEST and most effective treatment I've had since being diagnosed, so far I love it and will continue on it👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Thank you for mentioning fatigue. I have taken 3 mg for only 4 days so far and have been feeling very tired in addition to having distorted taste. I certainly hope these side effects go away soon.

Thank you for pointing out, clearing up & distinguishing who this *isn't* (for) ppl with or a family history of thyroid cancers (vs) ppl with Hypothyroidism or other immune system disorders. I was getting worried there for a second!👈🏾🤣My oldest sister takes this and swears by its effectiveness. I too maybe calling my Dr to try this since I've tried both *Trulicity* and *Ozempic* and neither one of them worked for me.

I am 4 days into the 7mg dose after 30 days of 3. Constant nausea and I’ve thrown up every day. Not good, hope it improves.

Same for me started off with 3mg no problem but 7mg throw up once a day this is my first month on 7mg I also hope it gets better

It works but couldn't afford it... even with the saving coupons... my insurance said no to remaining balance... very sad that this medicine helps but so expensive that most people can't afford it... I mean what's the point 👉 💰

Insurance will pay. But your doctor has to submit a diagnosis and detailed treatment plan. I take this, Metformin and Glyburide. I am down 150 lbs

Ms H.....I know what you mean. Those so called "Savings Cards" are very misleading and come with a lot of loopholes. Can you explain in detail what happened in your case?. In our case (my husband is the one with diabetes), when we took the Rx to the pharmacy, we were told the actual price would be $212/month which is the leftover amount after our regular insurance co-pay of $512 minus the $300 from the Rybelsus card which is BS since their card says "Pay as little" as $10 for a 30, 60 or 90 day supply. I know there is something in the fine print that says "Maximum Savings of up to $300 per 30-day supply, $600 per 60-day supply, and $900 per 90-day supply" which is confusing and contradicts their claim of paying as little as $10 so I questioned the pharmacist about it and asked him what would we have to do to get it for $10 and he said he didn't know and didn't seem interested in calling Rybelsus and finding out so I asked him to call the pharmacist helpline number on the card and have them explain to me why we can't get it for $10 dollars and he said he didn't have time for that. I tried to call that number but they won't talk to me because I am not a pharmacist. I tried to call Rybelsus Customer service and they were useless also. We are going to try going to another pharmacy in person and asking them to have the Rx transferred and see how much they charge us. This is very frustrating and stressful for both of us but especially my husband since he has Bipolar Disorder and has a very low stress tolerance level. With everything going on now in the world and this, I am afraid he will relapse and end up hospitalized. BTW....I wanted to add that his diabetes was caused by his Psych meds he's been taking for the past 30 years.

During the initial 60 days, I shed 30 pounds by using Rybelsus at doses of 3mg and 7mg. Yet, in the subsequent 60 days, I've observed no further weight loss while consuming Rybelsus 14mg, and my hunger levels remain unchanged. Is this lack of progress typical, and would it be wise to persist with Rybelsus 14mg? Thank you

In the past I have had terrible bouts with nausea and vomiting, plus I now suffer from post stroke, fatigue And then exhausted most days. Yes. They work by different mechanisms, so if your doctor deems them necessary, they can be taken together. Seen that combo quite a bit.

Looks good to me as long as your doctor is OK with it based on your individual situation. Just monitor your blood sugar when you start the Rybelsus to make sure you are not Giotto low. All the best.

No it’s not. Bupropion is got anxiety and depression. Naltrexone is used for overdose from narcotics but both can work to decrease your appetite.

The literature seems to point to appetite suppression and reduced food intake. Loss of weight due to diarrhea and vomiting will just have been temporary as it will just be water loss.

@@tarahardy26 If you work with a dietician who understands intermittent fasting and this medication with your endocrinologist I really believe you will get great results. It was either this, the injectable or insulin. I got serious with my diet and very moderate exercise. It has made a large difference.
