LOL It was a sight to see last night. I only planned on originally recording 3 songs from their setlist. But after they Altered their setlist from previous shows I ended up recording 7 last night. I'm glad you liked what you saw and heard....Mark is one of the best in the music industry. We are lucky to have him in a band we all enjoy. They are all super talented guys and down earth. I couldn't ask more as a fan.

If you didn’t know, Tremonti has his own band named “Tremont” in which he is lead singer. Very heavy and awesome sounding band that’s every bit as good as Alter Bridge in my opinion

There simply is no other band on the planet right now that is as resilient as this band. There's a hundred adjectives I could use to describe them, but in this context, that's the word that sticks out. The lack of superiority and ego, combined with the unmatched skill, creativity and originality make for a band that will constantly pump out excellence while at the same time do that until their age simply prevents them from continuing. To single out Mark here, he is one out of a small handful of musicians that has maintained excellence AND honor for his entire career, and that combination is extremely hard to find (EVH, David Gilmour come to mind).

Mark is an awesome singer. Fun fact, they hired Myles when they started Alter Bridge cause Mark didn't feel like he was good enough to be a lead singer. He's really humble, so I don't know if he was being modest or if he improved.

Another example of just how damn good Alter Bridge is now. Myles and Mark could always switch off lead guitar duties and now lead vocals as they please (and in this case, as needed). No need to ever cancel a show when they can cover for each other at any given moment. Thanks for posting this!

We were at the Philadelphia show a couple days before this one, but by the last 3 or 4 songs the crowd sang all of the chorus parts for Myles and we even sang 75% of Metalingus because his voice was just shot from the sickness. I guess that show is what prompted them to get Mark to sing more. Consider yourselves lucky to have been able to see such a rare AB moment. Thanks for sharing this version of Mark singing. The mans talent is endless!

Mark did the vocals on Burn it down this summer in Sweden too, even though Myles wasn’t sick (a first for him for a Sweden show I think!) and it was even better than this, completely blew me away. Obviously there’s no Alter Bridge without Myles, but I would genuinely love to hear a few of their older songs either with Mark on lead or at least with more of Mark as backup/duet style officially re-recorded ❤

I was at the Philly show Myles spoke of. It was in no way a fail. The fans sang when he needed us to. Mark sand a song or two. It was a great show. Mark totally rocks Burn it Down, and anything he sings. Sounds like they changed the set list to suit him, at the same time giving the fans an excellent show. Typical for AB.
