I get the point McShay is making about getting guys from that McVay tree in order to develop QBs like Caleb, but it seems pertinent to note that the Bears' OC is Shane Waldron, who was McVay's passing game coordinator with the Rams. Waldron was also the Seahawks' OC that called the offense that helped along the Geno Smith revival. So on paper, the Bears have exactly what you'd want, he's just not getting it done right now. The resume can say all it wants, but it's not that simple to get a great coach.

Actually, Sam Darnold and Zach Wilson are de facto in the loan agreement Ryen was talking about. Minnesota drafted McCarthy number one, he got hurt, Darnold got a one year deal as a backup and he's a free agent next year. What happens next year? Darnold can walk and Minnesota goes back to Plan A with McCarthy as QB Denver drafted Nix number one. In preseason, although you take it with a grain of salt, Zach Wilson, under Sean Payton's tutelage, absolutely balled out. The footwork was there, the accuracy was spot on, and Wilson was making throws that Nix can only dream of. Say Nix goes down injured and Wilson steps in (assuming they pass over Stidham in that case) and Wilson pulls a Darnold. Wilson is a free agent next year and Nix, Plan A, would be back.

Honestly, I dont think we can be certain whats going to happen every Sunday mainly due to the crazy amount of variance in Football (or sports in general). Now, you cant actually say that and try to make a livelihood on talking about sports because your suppose to pretend you know whats going which doesn't correspond to the reality you don't. So, when Broncos beat the Bucs is that bad? Yeah. Was it out of the question the Broncos could win? No. What does that mean for the Bucs (or Broncos) going forward? Maybe something, Maybe Nothing. Lets reevaluate in 6 weeks.

@@aahmed0229 The thing that gets my goat is trying to give more importance to individual games in first 6-8 weeks let alone games in September (barring catastrophic injuries like Tua). Due to the hardcap and ever increasing player price a lot of teams are still trying to get in sync. Honestly, I would like more tape on a team before I would start to get overly excited either way. Somtimes you just got to appreciate the road rather than the hypothetical destination... until week 10 then its balls to the walls lol

Beck has been literal garbage fire Ryen , there is no way you’re watching any of these games …he’s not even being discussed as a first round pick anymore ..he cannot process information quickly enough to play at an elite level . His biggest game he’s been dunked on by a running back with a cannon in Milroe . Absolutely insane to pretend Beck is playing like even a top 25 qb in the county right now . He’s mediocre ever game with an nfl offensive line in front of him that’s about as terrible as it came be. Give Beck sanders o line , let’s see if he can make it to the second quarter let be the one of two sole reasons your team wins
