Gunner Helm, Texas TE. He might be my favorite TE I’ve watched this year. Not saying best, but favorite and I seriously would be happy if he’s my TE 2 on a team.

Aidan Chiles I watch him live against BC and he was the reason MSU offense was working. Also had 3 picks in the rain. He didn’t have a passing TD but overthrew 2-3 if I remember correctly. Also one of the ground. I like his movement in the pocket. I think he is would be an interesting player in the 2027 draft as a boom or bust player.

I know it’s not the easiest process but my thought is… Rank the top draft pick (as college prospects) at their position over the past 5 years. Like for CB rank, Quinyon Mitchell vs Devon Witherspoon vs Derek Stingley Jr. vs Jaycee Horn vs Jeff Okudah… I think it would be interesting comparing how the positions change year over year

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed or talked about him but I wonder what y'all think of the Illinois DB Xavier Scott. He has been really nice as one of those nickel type of guys that can also line up out wide as a corner and he can play safety (Remind you of another Illinois DB?). Really good instincts, great at reading the QB's eyes, has a nose for the ball, and a sure tackler. He made some good plays on the ball against Nebraska and had two picks against Kansas. He's a true junior as well so a younger guy. Big game coming up against Penn State so might want to take a peek into that.

As someone who primarly scouts DBs i have 2 questions. 1. What do you guys think of Jahdae Baron from Texas and Quincy Riley from Louisville. Both of them have looked really good so far and could potentially both go in the first or second round. 2. When scouting players how much value do you place on current abillity compared to potential. I feel like a really interesting discusion back during the 2023 draft was who was CB1 between Devon Witherspoon and Christian Gonzales. Devon was miles the better player when you're watching the film like i did but even i couldn't deny that Christian Gonzales' ceiling was way higher than than Devon's. Devon ended up going higher but you also have cases like Travon Walker over Aidan Hutchinson.

Generally agree with what you said about quarterbacks and owner's patience Connor, but the Giants are the worst example of this. Coaches are one thing but Gettlemen ran the team for 5 years and Schoen is on year 3. This is Jones' sixth year, SIXTH! Schoen and company picked their quarterback when they signed Jones to an extension and that is a fireable offense in my eyes. - A disgruntled Giants fan

Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke (via Ohio) plays Maryland this weekend at noon EST on BTB. Good size, can move a bit, nice touch on deep balls. Will certainly be the #1 overall pick in the CFL draft because he’s Canadian (CFL teams have limited slots for international players) if he decides to go up north. Canadian QBs who are good become the face of the league like how Mahomes is the face of the NFL but multiply that by 100. So there’s plenty reasons he might go to Canada if the NFL doesn’t give him the best draft grades. His brother Nathan is a top CFL QB already (has been a little iffy this season but it’s because he went back to the CFL after being in NFL camps this August) so he has the name recognition. San Jose St WR Nick Nash (bye week). Former QB but is such a natural athlete as a WR he looks so natural. Will go pluck balls from the sky with ease and has a knack for laying out for diving catches. Decent size
