@@takeo_624 Same! I know FuhNaff was part of the big post SB theory livestream, but I’d love to see Rye and some other KZbinrs that have risen a bit since then in another one! Or even a small cameo in a theory. I think it’s cool in general MatPat is shouting out more creators and theorists in videos and commenting on what they do, even if it’s a short small joke in a theory(IE: his one commenting on Rye’s thumbnail and title about “MatPat is correct” or something). The community supporting eachother is something really needed and fresh nowadays. And we see it a lot with smaller creators, but seeing a bigger one helping and joining in as well is really cool and brings more attention all around and ends up gaining more theories in response. That’s the main reason I still keep up with FNAF lore. I can say I hate it all day and that it’s just silly now: but I love watching every single theory I can because of the people behind them putting all their hearts and souls into it. That just is always amazing to see. Pure passion over anything. The way some people’s eyes light up at topics. It makes me happy to watch and listen. Even if I might not agree or even know about the topic (ex: my sister and astrology. I can hardly keep up but try my best to listen and understand and ask questions bc her eyes light up and she gets so excited to talk about it to someone). FNAF may have gone so downhill, and I hate the fandom sometimes, but it spawned so many amazing creators in general. From such talented artists, to amazing fangame developers, to KZbinrs. It put a nice spotlight on some people who deserve that attention. :) Wow this comment got long MB I just had so many thoughts that spawned as I kept typing

I actually barely played the games but the passion people put into it and the community work is just so charming I can't help but love it even when the story itself get's comedically dumb sometimes lol And I agree, Mat giving these shout outs is really awesome, people will often bash on him but I can't help but love the guy for these little things he do. I think it would be awesome if they made maybe some GTnotLives of theory crafting between the three (and Tom!) or/and a massive three part theory across all the channels with the "definitive" timeline as soon as Ruin is released

@@No-Community1380 According to Matpat (and possibly Scott tho i cant remember), The designs of both Molten Freddy AND Scrap Baby were meant to really just be trash that ends up in a form reminescent of Funtime Freddy and Cricus Baby. Like I guess they were meant to be an explanation of "After leaving Michael's corpse, Ennard's remnants and Circus Baby went around, picking up bits of garbage and scraps (i.e. Scrap Baby) to make themselves look like their old selves, until eventually being called to the Pizza Place from wherever they ended up."

I have this idea: What If the Blob has just one soul on it? Henry's? I think a problem fans have when theorizing is, when they hit a dead end, they figure they probably missed something, right? So they start taking non-clues and trying to string them together. FuhNaff makes some great points, like how Vanny likely killed the employees of the Pizzaplex or that Luis was using the room with the BBWorld machine in it. Even Nightmarrionne being relevant is an interesting point. But bringing up illusion discs, saying the door to the Sister Location room *resembles* the Fourth Closet smallest closet door, and thinking the Foxy minigame in FNAF World is meant to parallel Security Breach's "Story about Charlie's revival"... It all feels more loose because, unlike the Luis, the killed off employees and Nightmarrione's relevance, this relies a lot more on interpretations and looking for "developer intended parallels" and "metaphors." Which is stuff that can easily be interpreted in different ways, in the case of FuhNaff, it only works as "evidence" because that's how he interpreted a lot of points. Minor example, but at what point is the Sister Location room's door just a small door, and at what point is it a nod to the fourth closet? If a cat appears in two games, at what point do we decide the cat was just put there, or that the cat has some "secret developer intended meanings"? I feel a lot of people don't stop to think about this either, because FuhNaff brings a lot of these points up after stating some PRETTY *concrete* points. Yet despite his points about Charlie and other aspects of his theory being unrelated in terms of evidence, he repeats "Need more proof?" as if he's got mountains of confirmation that he's solved everything.

this is exactly how i felt when he started bringing the elements of charlie and the “dev paralells” in. The foxy minigame in particular annoying me as a lot of what foxy is saying are hints to the player for how to complete the miniagame itself and could just be that alone. especially when it opens the floodgates to overanalysing the other games in that DLC scott made mainly for funZ for example: In freddy in space, the main antagonist mentions making A fnaf game with the subtitle “Freddy Takes Manhattan” and in one of Help wanted’s updates we get a teaser for security breach, with big hills in the background. If we look at the more rural areas of Manhatten we find the hills near a specific area almost match one to one with the hills we see in the teaser for Help wanted, proving the mega pizzaplex is in manhattan. Every time i see this stuff i remember Mister Hippo’s story about overanalysing stuff while trying to connect everything together and how somethimes a story is just a story, and how not everything needs to have answers or make complete sense (for better or for worse) and think that maybe they should take his advice.

I've been saying this since Help Wanted, the Steel Wool games take place in a separate timeline where Fnaf 6 never happened. Think about it, we never saw fnaf 6 content in HW despite multiple updates. It wasn't mocked by Fazbear Entertainment because it didn't happen; Henry wasn't alive to enact his plans. I mean, in the novel trilogy, he took his own life early on. Burntrap and The Blob/Molten Freddy are the equivalent of Ennard and Scraptrap. They weren't destroyed in the fake pizzaria because it didn't happen. Henry monologues at the end of Fnaf 6 about everything finally being forgotten. In Security Breach, we see a message from a customer about everyone still remembering. Either his plan failed, or it never was attempted in the first place. Hand unit is in the new timelime probably because his AI got scanned with the rest of the circutboards prior to HW. Management must have kept him around becuase he's really good at managing esablishments, dodging lawsuits, and hiding bodies. Makes me wonder who's managing Fazbear Entertainment in this new timeline...

I really like this in trying to pull together some of the current “hive mind” of the franchise. The way he irons things out in the start really feels good. My biggest leap for patient 46 being Charlie-bot is why and how? Why and how is a small child in to see a therapist? I remember one of the CDs for 46 talks about encrypted communications and your doing the manipulation. How exactly? From Where? Within the pizzaplex? How is it explainable that a child would even begin to have access to what is necessary to do these things.

This does give me some ideas. The fnaf 6 thing could explain why scraptrap's design differs so heavily from dark springtrap and burnttrap since dark springtrap could have been the real scraptrap per say, similar explanations could explain the rest. Another idea this gave me was the idea the fnaf 1 animatronics remained intact, and the bad ending of fnaf 3 is more accurate. The souls never move on, in fact, it seems like the fnaf 1 animatronics were still around after the events of fnaf 6, and were simply added to the blob by Vanessa to create some sort of agony beacon to help resurrect Willam Afton which seems to feed on pain and fear for energy.

Also, that doesn't really solve how characters like Ennererd, RXQ, and the Nightmare animatronics, appear in Help wanted and Security breach. And while I agree the Fnaf 4 we play isn't Steve's fnaf 4 (Because steve's fnaf 4 had the Funtime animatronics instead of the nightmares, just like night terror mode in help wanted) I still feel like the inclusion of the nightmares in Help Wanted should still throw fnaf 4 into question. I also really don't like this theory, most people do even Matpat himself, but I can't just throw it away yet. luckily steelwool is working on a fnaf origin game which will hopefully solve this conundrum or we can have another Miketrap scenario where it is outright confirmed to be true or false by the creators.

Actually I think that there’s a pretty big issue on this theory. Why make the original games in the first place if they don’t even matter? This new timeline with security breach doesn’t work without pizzeria sim since that location is there and pizzeria sim doesn’t work without all the other games in the series since they all build up to the final events of pizzeria sim. Also the blob not showing molten Freddy or lefty isn’t all too much of a big deal. They could just be inside the mess of wires and tentacles. Of course scrap trap isn’t there because he is now burn trap. We know burn trap is Williams corpse because we can literally see his jaw still there. So I still believe that all the games are canon and show us the true story. It would make things way more complicated then they already are if the original games never truly happened.

I think we just need to accept that Scott wrote the lore into a corner. I think matpat nailed the theory before. The original story was dream theory. But the community revolted at the idea, and it forced Scott to essentially retcon the story in real time. Thus all the things that don't make sense within the timeline. Then, tried to write the books to tell the whole story without the dream theory, but it just made things worse. Considering the soft retcon of the first games being turned into literal games within fnaf universe, I'd like to see a reboot of them. In game lore says the first 4 games are exaggerated lies to better the company image. So what if they did something like: Five Nights at Freddy's: The Truth And have the storyline be us playing thru the TRUE events of what happened, and use it as a way to retcon/clean up the lore and storyline so it's not a knotted up mess.

I have a really random theory that I think might be interesting possibly? Maybe the indie games Steve made had something similar happen to them like what happened in Fnaf VR. We all know these games were made after 1985 when kids died. What if Golden Freddy is actually the spirit of Cassidy (or crying child. Or both. idk) haunting the game? I know it sounds wild, but it would be really interesting if that was the case. After all, he DOES crash your game, and I don't think Steve programmed anything like that. This could even be the same for the Shadow Animatronics from Fnaf 2--who ALSO crash your game. Heck, we could go as far to say that the secret 8-bit minigames were NOT programmed by Steve but was a haunting. No proof I can provide, but this would be an interesting one...

I liked your theory, but there are some problems with it. First of all, MatPat says in his video that the indie game developer was hired to make 4 games, meaning Sister Location and FFPS are canon. However, he got something wrong, according to ImpulseEvan_37 in his reaction to MatPat's theory (I haven't read it myself), in the book the game developer dies BEFORE finishing the fourth game, which would also make FNAF 4 canon. And remember that, unlike the trilogy or Fazbear Frights, Tales from the Pizzaplex is completely canon to the games.

Something i noticed: I dont know if anyone else noticed but in the elevators the picture sometimes is freddy Performing but it's a screenshot from like 2020, and since the elevators were added so late maybe it is because they didnt have time or maybe just maybe there are 2 pizzaplexes. I completely disagree with calling the first 5 games dubious. There's nothing to directly say so. The developer in the books who made the game never had a chance to make FNAF4. That's why 4 isn't in VR, and it guarantees that 5 happened. 1-3 may have had recreations made by the dev, but there's nothing genuinely suggesting the events didn't happen in the way we saw them. VR intentionally treats calling the old events fake as if it were a joke.

And while you're correct, that definitely one through three was made by the dev, consider the fact that nightmarionne and Nightmare Fredbear appear in FNAF VR as well as Ennard. This isn’t a new timeline, it’s a different perspective of the story. A recurring theme in fnaf is different stories being metaphorical in a sense for what is true in the story. This idea, makes the original games a vesil to indirectly tell the true story. And then security breach takes place in the literal setting of the story. The issue with the community is that the general consensus seems to be that the franchise is disregarding the old story when it’s not. 1 story is being told here, it has been that way since fnaf 1, but the way in which that story is being told takes many different forms. It feels like the pieces are starting to come together and the true story of fnaf has been under cover from us for longer then we could have ever thought. Fnafs getting interesting again…

What I like best about the Fuhnaff theory is that it shook things up. Though Mattpatt changes up some of his theory every so often, for the most part a big chunk stays the same and details are only relooked at in terms of what is needed to work with the new part of the theory. It's started to feel stale, as if there is so much as gospel truth that's been figured out when literally nothing at all has been confirmed and everything is always subject to change. Bits of rvidence get written off or overlooked because it doesnt fit prettily into this idea that the community of theorists at large have generally been okay with accepting. Though some of Fuhnaff's stuff require a stretch (tbh every theory from every theorist has required a stretch at some point) he brought up new evidence that changes and adds so much to what has become status quo. It's a new perspective turning the theory over and revealing what everyone has overlooked and actually getting traction in the community.

1:05 Has anybody noticed how Rye called the marionette "Cassidy" when in actuallity it should've been charlie whilst golden freddy was reffered to as charlie? I know it has been stated in the comments about the animation error, but i found it funny and made out of the statement "Cassidy possessed the Puppet" a theory. Its not perfect, and it has a lot of points that can debunk that theory easily. But just for the funsies, here's why cassidy would be a good canidate to possess the puppet: As we know, Cassidy and Charlie [from the minigame] have Black hair. Its possible that its just a color factor to make the real colors pop better, but who knows? Cassidy seeks revenge on her murderer, William Afton [Or nicknamed as "Dave" in the novels, "Vincent" by fans for some reason], and does get her revenge, Often in a passive aggressive manner. Of course, she might get completely aggressive at times, putting William in a "cage". An unescapable hell, where he'd get tortured by every single one of his creations, of his mistakes, of himself and his past deeds, haunted forever [Not really but you get it]. Cassidy, because of that passive aggessive behavior, gathered the spirits of other victims of her own murderer, gaining an unstoppable army of undead children possessing deadly animatronics to fufill the revenge she had planned, to get rid of William once and for all. Its possible, that she loves teasing William for his bad deeds, making fun of him by shushing him like heard in the death quotes in UCN. But that is easily debunkable thanks to the FNaF 6 ending, where Henry speaks about his daughter Charlie when it comes to Lefty/The puppet. But what if Henry was wrong? What if Henry was so devastated that he mistook the body for his own daughter when it actually was a completly different child? Again, dont take this seriously!

Came back after thinking of something. What if Lefty isn't shown in the blob because he is inside of it? Or was so completely destroyed (since lefty had no soul or remnant or anything. Just a bot to capture puppet/charlie) that there is nothing left. Consumed by the blob. So what's the blob? It's the puppet. It's Charlie's agony. As we've all seen, lefty has the puppet captured when you burn the pizzaplex down. Shown thru the stripes being visible thru lefty and Henry speaking to Charlie at the end. So what if the blob is just a massive explosion of remnant and agony? Think about it. Charlie was murdered. Saw other kids murdered. Had a spiritual battle with a killer spirit. Then was burned "alive". Yes her soul may be at rest, but that is ALOT of pain for a child. Last thing the puppet remembers is being in lefty. A bear. But lefty is completely destroyed in the fire/eruption of agony. So the agony blob uses the next best thing as its "face". Funtime Freddy. A bear.... The puppet erupting into a blob of agony and changing from protective to murderous confused noodle monster. Thus explaining the blob not having the stripes anymore. It would also allow steelwool to make nightmare puppet into being a cannon character and not just a character in the in universe games. Seems like that's something they're trying to do. Could also explain why the arcade clearly has puppet tentacles all around it.

I realized something, fnaf 2 might be the least real game in this timeline other than the minigames. It explains why Fredbear looks like the classic animatronics. In fnaf 1 phone guy says "If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too" this implies the fnaf 1 location opened in 1973 and stayed open and the newspapers in fnaf 1 seem to prove this and prove the public knows about the missing children incident in 1985 "After a long struggle to stay in business after the tragedy that struck there many years ago, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has announced that it will close by year's end. Despite a year-long search for a buyer, companies seem unwilling to be associated with the company. "These characters will live on. In the hearts of kids, these characters will live on." - CEO" So Freddy's opened in 1973 and closed in 1993. oddly enough years that end with 3 seem to be important (1973, 1983, 1993, 2023) but that's just a random thought.

This is a super crazy theory, but have we considered that Glamrock Freddy isn’t possessed by Michael, but by the Crying Child / Evan himself? When Gregory gets hurt inside Freddy during the beginning sequence, Freddy says “I feel you are broken” rather than something more human. But why, unless we remember that these are the words that were said to the Crying Child as he was dying or hurt himself. He is told through the Fredbear plush “You are broken.” Him repeating back these lines would make complete sense. In one of your theories, you pose that Evan is inside the Blob, and that the Blob was the one who lived in that Post-It-Note room. According to MatPat, there are huge visual similarities between the Crying Child and Gregory, and Gregory as a robot was in that room. But if we take into account FuhNaff’s theory, where Gregory is chosen by Vanessa to be the Crying Child reborn, then it all would click into place. Crying Child’s soul would have to be somewhere for that to happen, whether that was in the Blob or it escaped. We also know that Glamrock Freddy has been with the Blob before, and that he found himself down there. I present that when Glamrock Freddy was down there, Evan’s soul attached himself to him. Or, Vanessa just attached Evan’s soul to whatever vessels she could truly manipulate at the time, as a place to keep him temporarily. If Evan was in Glamrock Freddy and saw someone who looked like him, terrified of dying to an animatronic like he did, it would make sense why he would want to protect him. Freddy even calls the other animatronics and other characters his friends, exactly how the Crying Child viewed them. Now, why not Michael? In the ending of Pizzeria Simulator, Henry says that it seems like this is where he would want to be. If Michael would have been happy to finally die there, why would his soul not be at rest? But Evan would have reason to live, especially if we consider the Happiest Day his soul being put into Golden Freddy rather than being freed.

Another reason the blob isn't scrap animatronics is that it's fnaf AR animatronics. The designs are more similar to the AR animatronics than steel wools design for the fnaf 1 animatronics and Vanessa hacked the AR animatronics too, possibly to harvest remnant or agony to fuel Afton, with the discarded parts being collected by the blob
