Thanks Robert!! I appreciate that! I am torn though, because my videos get lengthy and the average viewer doesn’t watch over 6 minutes!!
@robertpearce22445 жыл бұрын
Ryker Rydes hmm... that’s a tough one... How’s about this as an idea: many other KZbin channels I watch will add in an on-screen message on the lines of, “event X actually happens at time Y in this video”. That lets people watch the whole video or ‘cut to the chase’. Just a thought!
@RykerRydes5 жыл бұрын
I actually did do that in this video. It is a good idea 💡. I mentioned the time in the comment section.

This was the first upgrade I did to my ryker back in March. I don't use the horn often, but it's nice to know that when I need to wake somebody up at a stoplight, they'll hear me.

I feel the same about all of my Spyders, but especially my Ryker! But you're right the Spyders have a dual tone horn like a car but the Ryker is especially embarrassing! But I have bought a bad boys integrated air horn that will make you stand up and salute! Rofl
@RykerRydes5 жыл бұрын
Nice!!!!
@colm545 жыл бұрын
While the horn is still attached you can use a flat screwdriver and pry gently between the curved edge of the horn and the connector. This makes it an easy removal with little chance of hurting yourself.
@RykerRydes5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Hope that helps others!
@kevinperry3685 жыл бұрын
Vise grips suck for that type of job. Need a good set of box wrenches. I do enjoy your videos. Love that your doing the work on your ride yourself. Thinking about taking the plunge and getting either a 900 Ace or Rally Edition. I rode motorcycles for 45 years but after spinal cord damage due to an autoimmune disease I lost a lot of my sense of balance and hand and leg strength. No shifting and clutch or brake lever grabbing fit me perfectly. The Ryker gives me hope of getting back out on the road. I see so many negative videos on youtube though about the Ryker that I keep going back and forth. Had any trouble with the infamous loose wheel nut or any other issues with your Ryker? It's enjoyable to see someone who gets excited as I used to when something comes in the mail from a motorcycle gear shop. BTW, that horn sounds great. Wimpy horns can get you hurt.
@RykerRydes5 жыл бұрын
Hey Kevin!! I am loving your comments! Thanks!!! Yes the Ryker sounds like a perfect way to get you back in the wind!! I highly recommended it. NO I have NEVER had a single problem with my Ryker. As far as the wheel nut, went into the dealership got the recall done in 15 minutes. Easy. Keep in mind, people love to post negative stuff. Don’t let that stop you!! My suggestion is to take a Can Am Ryker course, just to get a sense of riding a trike. Make sure it works for you, before you buy.
@kevinperry3685 жыл бұрын
@@RykerRydes Good idea about the Ryker course. There's a dealership right up the road. I'm in Indiana so it will have to wait a while. Any trouble with pulling into driveways with curbs? It looks really low. Since I'm 5'6" that's a good thing but it worries me a bit. Getting ready to watch your speed bump video.
@RykerRydes5 жыл бұрын
I have never bottomed out on a speed bump. But I am 5’3 and not heavy. So not sure about others. Yes you have to watch for curbs and be aware of your front tires at all times!
