Recently bought this saw for home diy projects. What a great performing saw. I keep the guide rods wiped with gun oil or any similar oil and it slides effortlessly. I don't think the saw would stand up to heavy industrial use and abuse, but for any of my projects its a great saw.

I have had mine for almost 2 yrs and it works well. I totally agree with you about the sliding aspect, leaves much to be desired. Overall can’t be beat for the price.

I just bought the 10" Ryobi 18 volt miter saw. I do UMC Nomads rebuilding projects around the country and you cannot always count on having electricity close by. I have bunches of batts. Great video!!

Hey brother just found your channel and I am Ryobi 100%! For the price I feel you're getting every penny put to good use! I've had some of my DeWalt ( now which I've all sold off and bought Ryobi) tools literally burn up and get outlasted by a buddy of mine's ryobitools and I was sold after that. Anyway keep up the videos man I thoroughly enjoy them! Salute from Connecticut!

Thanks Matt I love using any tools that make it the job easier but for sure I believe Ryobi is the best bang for your buck!

@@RYOBIKING yes sir! Not to get too personal or in your business but what state are you located in? I find that being in the Northeast year again my Ryobi batteries don't freeze up as my DeWalt lithium batteries it was a constant battle with them freezing up just curious if you had the same problem or not?

Thanks for the video. I wanted to get the ryobi 10” compound miter saw. Similar to yours but it’s not a sliding one. Do you know if that one is any good and also will it cross cut a stock that’s 5.5” wide and 3/4” thick. Thanks for any help you can give.
@RYOBIKING3 жыл бұрын
Probably won’t cut it not wide enough but yes all there miter saws are nice 👍

can you cut 6 x 6 with 10"?
@RYOBIKING3 жыл бұрын
It can cut up to 12 inches with the sliding feature if you were referring to the thickness not without turning the material

@RYOBIKING4 жыл бұрын
Don’t see the 102L as a option the i yo better in my opinion is like the 12in but that’s only because I can cut bigger stuff with it
