Perfect, I use a 100ft hose even though it says nothing greater than 50' but didnt realize I could use the shrink able hose with it. Thankfully I have a 50' one so we'll see if that changed the performance of it! Also the 15° attachment is good just gotta be careful not to get close. Other than that I have this pressure washer and it's perfect for any use

I don't know why people keep saying RYOBI Foam cannon is okay compared to other amazon stuff. I just used it and it is great. Not cheap plastic like other brands, well built with durable poly-carbonate jar that oozes quality! So now to the part about the foam. It is a fad now to get those "specialty" soap etc. I just looked around and found a bottle of Meguiars car soap that is probably 7 years old not with the latest formula for foam etc. It actually thickened like honey over time as I havent used that bottle in a long time. Poured a little mixed it with water. Didn't care about the ratio. Sprayed it and my car was drenched in thick snow! The trick is not in the soap brand but the ratio of water to soap.Maintaining distance is key! I see people spray it very close to the car not giving the soap room to expand. Keep it in the foam setting walk 5 feet from the car and keep experimenting with the water to soap ratio knob till you get the right consistency. But do I want to just spray and rinse and be done with it? Absolutely not. No matter what soap you buy the best wash is when you work the soap with your hands and then rinse it off! So I am happy with mine and will save time applying soap and intend to keep the Ryobi. And I did use a RYOBI 2000 PSI electric pressure washer. I do have a Subaru pressure washer with higher PSI and I am sure the foaming on that will be even better. Will try it this weekend, if it doesn't rain. I also will have to try with Armor All snow foam soap that I have ordered and it can only keep getting better. So all the guys promoting that Amazon brand that rhymes with "matchstick" are doing it for affiliate marketing and commission rather than giving a honest review. BTW am not saying this as a response to this video, but in general as I was watching many videos of many RYOBI snow foam cannon and not a single one used it properly. Either low pressure, wrong soap/water ratio(try different than what the manufacturer suggested), too close to the car, instead of foam setting having it in the jet setting and lastly the knob to adjust the soap and water is wrong. Finally I broke down and opened the box of RYOBI today to see what the fuss was all about. It is just great and works as intended!
@AAE-cg1il Жыл бұрын
I agree……..most of the reviews are “selling” stuff. I also have learned that they use DI water to create even more foam because for some reason people like goam. It’s all fake. Like James, I’m just a guy a who wants to wash his car…….This Ryobi is good for many tasks as it can be adjusted to have some velocity behind it for cleaning high up house siding. Im good with my cheap Home Depot solution……..and my $5 per gallon car car soap.

I got this setup but with the newer black 1200psi pressure washer. Just got it to wash the porch and my car. Quick tip though, to get a spot free rinse get an RV water filter. Just hook it up to where the hose connects and then you hook the hose to the filter. It filters out all the gunk from your water and gives you a nice spot free rinse! I just use it when I wash my car and it has lasted a year. Probably have to replace it soon though
@jamesgarville6 жыл бұрын
Oh nice! Yeah i saw they came out with an updated version. Do you know if its any different? Spot free would be nice!
@WStar4Life6 жыл бұрын
James Garville not a clue. Prob same motor in different housing bc it is the same 1600psi 1.2gpm. Just go to amazon and search RV water filter. It’s like a tube and it’s made by Camco. Filters out pretty much any contaminants you can think of

Did you try the Ryobi brand soap? based on their video, that's a THICK foam and they only recommend that one to be used on their container. so thank you for showing a regular brand soap, but I do think you might get better results with a different soap.

Yes actually i have it worked very well with their soap but any soap will work with this cannon.

Absolutely! I ended up getting the MATCC Adjustable Foam Cannon with the extra tips. I then got a 4 pack of Camco TastePURE Inline Water Filter for the water before it goes into the pressure washer itself. Almost zero spots! It's really an excellent setup. I ceramic coated my car last summer, so I am now using the Chemical Guys Carbon Flex Vitalize designed for ceramic coating. Since then I can't remember when I've ever had to actually dry the car with a towel. It's nice.

@sirwhitecrayon24996 жыл бұрын
Yeah it was $700 well spent. When I got my car in spring of last year I had my detail guy do a full polish and apply P21s Carnauba Wax. I then decided since it's a black car with a full clear bra on the front to have the coated in August. I also have a Chemical Guy Jetspeed Vx6 that I used to blow the remaining water off. I only have to clean the windows and the jambs. I can wash my car in under an hour. Spotless.

Good video very informative, I suggest getting a foam canon off amazon as opposed to the one you used in the video, as well as I would go maybe half and half of soap and warm warm water in there, makes better suds, but very informative video will not be buying the canon but will be getting the pressure washer. Thanks for the upload 🙂

Frenchyk757 Since my comment I’ve used the pressure washer foam canon and what I found works best, in my opinion; is the Adams polishes ultra foam soap in warm water. Only use warm water if the pressure washer is on the lower end of psi. Comes out great for me and it’s super easy to wash the cars now. This video did help.
