Ideally a true steam cleaner is the way to go. Many years ago I did it on a professional level for home carpets, not vehicles. You wouldn’t believe how much these “wet” vacuums leave behind. However not everybody can have a dedicated van for it. Wish someone would come out with a smaller portable steam cleaning system.
@shay11162 жыл бұрын
Defeated the purpose of the comparison when you treated the whole mat with Folex before using the Bissell and then vacuuming both sections without checking the tank contents between the two sections (Folex/drill brush vs Swiftclean) to see which did the better job.

Regardless of the testing procedure, it's clear that this machine is not powerful and a huge waste of money.

First off, I own 94 ryobi tools and counting (I have a problem as my wife says LOL). Thanks for the great video. I always admire your videos from a true user and not one of the 5 youtubers that are given free tools to judge. Giving someone free tools will always change an opinion in my perspective but you're a real user and honest opinion. Thanks again

For anyone who hasn't tried folex, I highly recommend it. It's a top of the line carpet cleaner

I see exactly what you mean. I love Folex with my drill brush and HART Vac. It looks like you will create more work for yourself and I'm thinking why do that. The vac/chem/drill brush is definitely the way to go! Thanks for the content!

Just bought this, then returned it.. don’t waste your money, maybe if it was brushless and had more suction. Also it needs a wand with a power head to get into tight spots, it’s good for flat surface but that’s it. Wish I found this channel sooner, could have saved me a trip.

For one , I'm not a big fan of high foaming carpet cleaners just for that reason. Secondly, I think ryobi ment this more for spots around the house like puppy accidents. I would be curious how the ryobi works with a no foaming chemical.
@dalegolemon55182 жыл бұрын
Good video as usual; however, just as an FYI, when you test any Ryobi product, the 2A battery will not run the device to its full potential. Plug in a 4A, and you will see a noticeable difference in power, not just run time.
@tyronejoseph45982 жыл бұрын
Brother you are spot on. I own 94 ryobi tools and I notice the same thing, those smaller 1.5 and 2.0 AH batteries DO NOT give the same performance. However, I do think this spot clean may be a bust. I really wanted this tool to work but I may stay away from this one. Sadly..

Thanks for the tip about just using water to wash away the chemical. Never thought about that

I feel like it had to do with a good amount of user error. I love the swiftclean, use it for detailing all the time. It's my go to, and that max fill line doesn't matter. Also like I said user error, too much product there is a reason the reservoir for it is small. you barely need any down. Also, you should still have had suction I feel like you hit the button off. Plus why use 30 sprays of that other product on the other side? To get it clean you shouldn't have to use that much product. Overall this thing works great if used right and also would win in this comparison if done right. Edit: Also why go over it all with the brush and your gaint product before using the extractor? Defeats the point completely.

Can you do another review but just having water in the tank to spray and using a separate cleaner that possibly wouldn't foam as much allowing it to extract properly?

I have a lot of ryobi stuff very happy with it but i agree with you not worth it I have a drill brush and the bissell pro extractor that combo works great

Tbh 120 for just a tool is ridiculous. I don't own any ryobi tools so I would have to buy a battery to go with it which is more money. It's not worth it. I'll stick to what I already have which is a spot cleaner.

Just get a shop vac and a garden sprayer lmfao. The actual tools from ryobi are great but some of the shit they make should be on fire in a septic tank.

Another "reviewer" that didn't read the operation manual or see the ryobi demo videos. The spot cleaner is NOT designed for set-in stains. It states and is demonstrated clearly that its for fresh spills. You people are spraying a little solution on dry carpet and declaring "it's not working".

I’ve used this and a shop vac works way better
@imjoshv2 жыл бұрын
I just try to deliver value to the end consumer. This unit may be effective in some cases but it’s basically just a spray bottle and vacuum in one… it’s much more effective to spray the area with a spray bottle and use a vacuum. It achieved the same result without having to buy a whole additional machine.

Actually "Ryo - bi", because りょ is one syllable. (and while I'm at it, Kyoto is not "key yo to or key o to", it's kyo - to きょ- と)
