good working little sander but don't collect dust to good.

hey Ford, I found that it does collect some, but it could be a bit better in that regard. Thanks for the comment

@@ToolReviewZone I find that the 18 volt model is that way too. I came here to see if the 120 volt model would be any better. The 18 volt sander dust collection is rather mediocre and cleaning those bags is not so easy because the only way is to shake them out. I find that connecting a shop vac to it does not seem to help it with dust collecting either. I should clean out the vacuum and see if that makes a difference. That same vacuum has a noticeable feel with my Ridgid R2610. I am glad I still have my old R2610, it is one of the older ones made in Germany. Many people who have them say they run forever. I just find it helpful to blow the dust out with a compressor when done with any tool that makes a lot of dust or at least give it a quick dusting with an 18 volt leaf blower (you will never guess the brand ;^).

Take a look at the dewalt orbital sander review I did. Think it will be better that application

Do you put any sort of pressure while sanding? And is it supposed to feel like it’s vibrating and sort of gliding on the surface your sanding?
@ToolReviewZone3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just a bit so you don’t damage the material

I have one and the screw that holds the orbit bearing under the Velcro pad came loose. Took it apart and red locktite it back in. Been ok since.

This sander is more of a toy than a tool...it's a junker
