Just wanted to say you have your KZbin video game down better than most people. I appreciate the work. Thanks!

Do you think this would work for a big 2 foot by 4 foot tile? As long as I have someone to hold it so it doesn't fall off, shouldn't be a problem right?

I think if you go very slowly, with a helper, it could work... But as I stated in the video, this particular saw isn't designed for professionals. As old as this video is, I have used the tile saw maybe six times in total. It's perfect for someone like me, who does maintenance which occasionally requires a little bit of tile work. Definitely not for a professional tile installer... 2 ft by 4 ft seems awful big, that's like a drop-ceiling sized tile. I would just be super careful and definitely wear safety squints!

In the beginning was it getting hung up on the metal bracket for the splash guard? I noticed in a video of another KZbinr that the metal bracket wasn’t flush with the blade when he installed it. I couldn’t tell if yours was the same way.

Yes, when I first assembled it, that bit (which is actually called a Riving Knife on table saws) was a little bit bent, or not quite lined up with the blade. It was causing the tile to pinch between it and the fence. A little bit of brute force kind of lined it up, I didn't really get that part on video unfortunately. Meanwhile I've had that thing for quite a while now, and it still performs great. Just keep it clean and always use a sharp blade. Keep in mind I do tile maybe three or four times a year tops, I'm definitely not a professional in the field 😁

Awesome deal! Just be prepared to put a new blade on it -- if it's not cutting smoothly, a new blade makes all the difference (on any saw really).

So it says it only rips 20inchs but why it seems like I could cut any length on it ?

I'm not quite sure why it would say that, other than perhaps any longer than 20 in might be dangerous or unstable. But of course if you had a table behind it, I don't see why you couldn't push a much longer piece through... For example, I've been known to push a 4 by 8 sheet of plywood across my dewalt table saw by myself, with the help of an adjustable table, and the bed of my pickup truck serving to take up what comes off the rear of the saw. Not a recommended practice, but when you're by yourself and you're in a pinch, you do what you have to 😁 I know the width is limited to the fence although there's nothing stopping you from not using the fence, as long as you carefully follow a line drawn on the tile... I don't do a lot of tile work, but when I do, it's generally 18 x 18 Max tile sizes, 12 x 12 being more common...

Just got one from home depot and it will not cut trough my 4 x 16 8 mill tiles at all and it’s extremely loud. This is the only time I’ve ever had problems with a brand new tool I alway get dewalt tools but I just needed a tile saw for a very small job so I got this garbage ryobi saw that can’t do what it’s made to do what a joke

I honestly don't know what to tell you, I have used it quite often with various porcelain and ceramic tiles without issue. Just keep a sharp blade on it, keep everything lined up including the riving knife, and keep the thing clean and always start with clean water in the reservoir... As far as the loudness, it's pretty quiet for me while spinning and not cutting but once you start cutting, and you have to do a very slowly, obviously it's going to make some noise. If yours seems to be louder than mine in the video, and I did not manipulate the audio at all, it's possible you got a defective unit or just a shitty blade... It also could be assembly error. All that said, this was not designed for a pro who does this for a living obviously, I stated so much in the video. But for someone like me, a basic handyman type, who does the occasional tile job, it still works today as well as it did when I filmed the unboxing...
