The easy sad way: buy rosted powdered coffee available at any market, boil and mix with soy milk (also available at markets) ...only the coffe won't be likely 1/5 as good as this! Another go: roasted coffee beans, pulse in a food processor, boil and add soy milk. If you feeling like you could push even further: green coffee beans, roast them at home, same processes above.
@cbug015 жыл бұрын
go to goodwill and get a used espresso machine. it will probably only have one grouphead (the espresso spout thingy) though. you can easily find one on ebay too. i’m sure if you really wanted to you could buy a cheap roaster online as well. secondly, whole bean coffee is not hard to find at all. head to your local grocery store for pre-roasted, or go online for a shipment of green(not sure how common green coffee is at the store). a simple grinder, also easy to find used if you look hard enough online or at a thrift shop, with settings as to how thick you want your grinds coming out (as espresso is very very finely ground) will likely not be too expensive either. good luck if you’re actually interested and for anyone dropping by to see answers, good luck to you too! :^)

Here's my experience : I use a mokapot (+/- $20), a low cost grinder (less than $50), home made ice cube, and Parahyangan roasted coffee bean (+/- $15 / kg) I can make ice latte for sale, no need to use high end tools.

5:52 - 6:02 the way this is shot, and the beautiful hum of the machine, makes this shot feel like the opening scene of a movie. Love it. Your very knowledgeable. As a barista, at a local coffee chain, even I didnt know about "1 crack" or "second". How long did it take you to roast your beans?
@peacefulcuisine9 жыл бұрын
+Sarah Ferreira It always take about 12 - 15 minutes :)

A lot of specialist coffee roasted within Europe will not pass 2nd crack, but will usually have a development time following the first. Companies such as Starbucks will roast past the second crack, which pulls a lot of flavour within the coffee and makes it taste charred or burned. You can tell by the visible oils left in the hoppers when in a store. I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself if you try this at home, as like I said the flavours will be pretty bad

That explains why I find Starbucks coffee too bitter to drink - it's proper foul!

i would really like to try this to see how it turns out for me. even if it ends up tasting like dookie i will still keep trying until i can start selling my own brand: "Evans good ass coffee". It'll take off.
