I am from India and I was pleasantly surprised how close to the original this recipe is. We also add green peas and dry mango powder (for that tangy flavour) to the potatoes. Plain tomato ketchup also goes very well with the mint chutney with the samosas!

I am an Indian. I can't put into words how much I admire you and what you do. Your level of passion, perfection, humility, simplicity, and kindness (through your advocation of a cruelty-free lifestyle) are virtues that if all of humanity were to possess, even in some limited measure, we'd have a much better world. :)

I am an Indian. My uncle and aunt, also Indian, live in Tokyo. They have an Indian restaurant (DIYA) in Roppongi Hills. My great-grandfather used to live in Tokyo until his death; he had a chain of restaurants (Maharaja) across Japan: in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. There are many Indians in Japan, and they still hold onto their culture and cuisine. :)

@shivanikuthe73958 жыл бұрын

@advaith3656 жыл бұрын
you can bake them instead of deep frying them. I generally bake them if I ever make them at home..
@sayoneenandi26126 жыл бұрын
Baking them makes it healthier honestly, but tbh it tastes better fried.
@victrola20076 жыл бұрын
Yes. I do it as a pie, a shallow casserole or as individual packets coated in extra virgin coconut oil (olive oil goes rancid at higher temps and does not crunch up well).
