I believe the Freak Du Chic dolls of Clawdeen and Twyla were changed because management at Mattel had extra stock from the holiday season and used it on those dolls, which is why they were super high quality because they wanted them to sell and they wanted to use as much materials as possible. Oh and the reason they were goth is because the extra stock came from the haunted dolls.

This makes me sad to watch because of my own collection 🤣 I had a huge MH phase as a kid and once I took down all the decor and dolls from my room I threw a handful of the dolls out 😔 (I threw away all 5 of my Skull Shores dolls and most of my Scaris dolls + some others) I still have most of them but I'm beating up younger me for throwing a bunch away 😔😔

ha ha, awesome collection. I used to be OBSESSED with Monster High when I was younger and I was 9 too when they first came out. I'm wanted the first wave Cleo and Deuce 2 pack SO BAD when I was in like 4th grade but my mom wouldn't buy it for me because I was a boy and I guess she was worried people would make fun of me (I had only ever gotten 1 doll from a store that I picked out and it was a High School Musical 2 Sharpay and Ryan 2 Pack lol and I think I like BEGGED my mom for it when I was like 7 lmao). But anyways all of the first wave dolls are like $300 on eBay or other places and the Cleo and Deuce 2 pack in-box are like almost $400. But I just bought my first two dolls this weekend online which is Casta (I was was obsessed with her design when her doll first released and the fact she was a witch) and I just won a bid on a first wave Rochelle in box! I got both individually for under $100 and I know I'm on the look out for that 2 pack and an in-box first wave Nefera and Abbey.

Really great collection! 😍 It has definitely grown since last year! 😄 I made the maldan decision to collect all the Draculaura dolls (but only a couple of the reboots that I like, I don't want nightmares in my house), both the official ones and some that I may have taken used and are double to put them some fashion packs (for example the one from the newspaper club which is awesome). I also recently managed to get that "I heart shoes" that you showed on ebay in the video of the Draculaura chart, I can't wait for it to arrive! 😍 I really hope that the dolls that Mattel wants to release next year are as good as they were 10 years ago 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
