Love this series. Getting ready to pick up a VK56 to replace my 462k mile VQ35 and the more items I can address with the engine out, the better.

Hell yes. That's awesome you got the VQ that high. What was it in?

Great video. Those intake ports are nasty. I just replaced my intake manifold and mine were spotless.

Thanks. You make it easy except when you're saying fu**. That makes me laugh when you cuss. I love what you're doing and it can't wait till it's back together again
@Rythecarguy2 жыл бұрын
haha right on. I cut out MOST of the cussing. Thanks for watching. I was worried most people would not care about a rebuild unless they were doing it themselves. Im really glad people are finding some enjoyment out of it.

I enjoyed watching you tackle the engine. But I couldn’t help wonder how you handle the waste that comes off. Proper disposal might be mentioned in your video.

Oh that's a good thought! At the moment I am storing it in recycled containers and dealing with it later.

Where did you get the bracket? I am currently in the process of pulling the motor in my 04 Titan and need that starter bracket and the other two 😅

What size were the engine to transmission bolts? My engine was a donor and didn’t come with the transmission bolts, google has been useless and i had two failed attempts getting metric bolts last night as everywhere was closing
