Good move about showing the Gap procedure. Most plus will say gap is set from factory. To a certain point probably true but remember a dairy wide range of gaps and plugs are made with different vehicle gap specs. The general concept is .....”Trust but verify”. Plugs can get bumped during packing, shipping and even on the retailer storage shelves. I dab a small coating of either die electric grease or silicone high temp just a light smear around the flare out of the coil pack where it makes the seal with the spark Plug chamber jacket. Optional but may help the pack slide off easier next time. Another trick I kind of self taught but can be helpful. As you remove the new plugs from the box place the old plug in the same empty box. Mark cylinder # and in this case. A/B for each plug. The reason I do that is after the new plugs are installed the marking of the plug to the box can still provide useful information in two areas. I even went so far as to marl each coil pack with the cylinder number with a color contrasting permanent marker for easier reference. If you choose this option to mark the coil Packs remember especially with 2 plugs and coil pack leads per cylinder do it correctly and consistently......... Example: if you choose Cylinder #1 to be A-B front of the engine to back that’s fine but make sure you keep the markings consistent for the other cylinders. Ex 2: if you choose A-B Left-Right as if standing over the fender that would make A against the firewall and B on the radiator side. That works too but remember keep consistent. No matter how Much we think we know and can remember we all know that we have the human factor and can get distracted by life. 1. I can review the plugs and compare the used plugs with burn charts for spark Plugs. This can determine if there are any engine problems causing abnormal water pattern (s). 2. The added benefit is that any abnormal wear pattern can be narrowed down to a particular cylinder for further inspection. AutoZone and probably Amazon by new have a spark plug socket specifically designed for the deep spark plug wells. One side is obviously the socket and the extension is built into the plug. There is a narrow range universal joint also included. This socket provides socket, extension and universal all as one piece reducing the chance of losing one of the three or more importantly reducing chances of the plug slipping off the socket. The extension is 6” I believe and also provides a knurled knob to help turn plug by hand after initial breaking of torque for removal and before torque for installation.

It was only 76$ for 16 double platinum spark plugs. Would be cheaper if it was copper but cost more if it was idridum or however you spell it. But I honestly don’t think the price is all that bad. Cost less then a lot of other things to fix or replace

We replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs but car didn't turn over at all. Had someone look at it and they said that you have press the gas a few times to get the fuel injected into the new spark plugs. After he did that the car turned on and no morr issues.

What's the engine light is flashing there should be a code. Bring it to a shop that can scan the code. It will tell you exactly what's wrong.

So did you disconnect the battery or not? Seen videos saying to. An saw some people in the comments saying how good your video is and how other left things out. Kinda curious if the battery don’t matter or you left it out. Also what did you use to tighten it to 13 foot lbs? Could of shown what you used and how to set the proper torque on whatever you used for people who may need help with that. Also there’s a lot of debat on wether you need to do that as other claim they had no problems doing it by hand and not a torque wrench.

There is no reason to disconnect the battery because when the car is off the spark plugs have no electricity going in. Unless your scared that someone will start the car while you’re working on it, in that case I’d say do it if it makes you sleep better

Have to be driving over 15 mph, then turn key to right and hold 5 seconds. But when you turn car off it will go back to normal settings.

I have been having this problem and was originally told that I needed catalytic convertors by a mechanic. After $1,200 it is still stalling. Now Im told a tune up. If this is the only problem I am about to be big mad but oh well.

I was told that mine needed catalytic convertors first. but after getting that done which was expensive its still stalling. Now I'm told its a basic tune up. Maybe yours really do need the convertors but that was not my problem.

300 is the model. The C is the trim. But yes all C's have the hemi as far as I know.

Don't use anti seize on the threads like that. That much anti seize on the plug will eventually migrate into the combustion chamber and get into the motor..not good. The taper on the spark plug is what seals the plug to head. You should not be using anti seize at all. Anti seize has its place on marine engines or engines with steel heads, and it is used sparingly on the taper part of the plug only.
