In the end, it was fun to watch! I just think ryu has some serious skill and quick thinking to knock out many levels.

On what they are basing on to skip the levels ?
@thepbblatias88975 жыл бұрын
World record time, their aim is to complete as many levels as possible but if the record is more than a minute, they skip and find a faster level
@akunog27085 жыл бұрын
World record time is only one consideration. A level may have a 15 second WR, but it's 5 wind assisted mid-airs in a row hehe. doesn't take long if you do it right, but good luck. Basically they are using their intuition and some data such as the world record time, clear rate, and general feel of the level (avoid trolls) to maximize the number of levels they can clear in the 15 minute match. Skipping does not cost any lives, only about 14 seconds. So, it's wise to skip liberally.
@NoName-qi7vx5 жыл бұрын
World record time and JANK.
@IIIIIIIIIIIIIIPKIIIIIIIIIIIIII5 жыл бұрын
It's more than all the things listed though... After a while of playing you develop a sixth sense, some say Ryu has done enough of these in practice he has sharpened the skill of getting a knack for knowing intuition-wise when a level is "hot garbage" i.e. unplayable... It makes all the difference having a good sense for these things since it's a big part of the tournament structure...
@Takkunaso5 жыл бұрын
There is a lot of skill in beating these levels on the first try. Put yourself on a 15 min timer and see how many expert levels you complete and then you would understand. However, there is luck involved when you get short and quick levels

@NoName-qi7vx5 жыл бұрын
If it really was luck ryu wouldbt be winning consistently. I think it is more like poker. A lot of luck but honestly more skill than RNG. The player who doesnt die to boo circles and tight jumps can clear levels more quickly. Ryu sometimes one shots janky ass stages that others would skip

Your point? It’s both luck and skill based. They skip depending on the WR time and usually play the speedruns. Though it would be fun as well to watch then play the same level if that was possible, which it sadly isn’t. But this is fine too. :)
@airlanggadiandraputra28365 жыл бұрын

@@whatsnext8548 its as this is a thing but IMO both is shit, compared to chess
@GrimToad5 жыл бұрын
Berk Can this is just a case of you not understanding the skill. The skill here is twofold, first you need to be a good player that you can reliably complete these levels. Next you need to be able to identify the trends within levels to know which ones are worth attempting. Chess is similar. For a person who only just knows the rules it seems like luck when a grandmasters strategy pays off 15 moves later.

This style of challenge us dumb. It's just random, literally no skill involved. Just luck on short levels. Idgaf about knowing when to utilize a skip. Wish there was a quick way to custom a level race where it has the same design of endless mode but you can customize what levels are in.
