Hey Ryu I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your videos and that you convinced me to buy SMM2! I finished the singleplayer in one sitting and then the next day decided to take on your courses. Hot sponge 1/2 were definitely a challenge, however cold sponge combined with having zero idea how the cape works made it the biggest challenge. I died 1-200 times figuring out that you can do that pound move with the cape. Figuring out and finishing the levels felt amazing. Love ya content and love you, thanks!

Nintendo should ban all levels with naked pipes in them because of "inappropriate content". I saw the red blocks as being off and I was thinking "Is Ryu going to turn them on?" And, yep, he did. That 3-1 level was very well put together. Not sure why it's in super expert. The run won't stop. Can't stop. Looking forward to the continuation video. *Plays Roundabout.* Was wondering how long it'd take you to think to throw the shell up. In the first level Ryu was supposed to stand under the block without an icicle (I assume) but what he lacked in strategy in that level he made up for in skill. Ryu just made an analogy for life.

So I'm just coming to the end of a rewatch of the Super Expert videos, and I had a couple of minor suggestions. First: I really like to see the times after a level is completed. Sometimes I'll think, "It looked like there was cheese there but he didn't go that way," or "I wonder how long this level takes if someone already knows which pipes/doors to pick," but it seems like every time I see something like that, I don't get to see the times. I also find it really interesting to see how close to WR pace you are in some random super-expert level, when by rights someone making a dedicated speedrun attempt (on anything except a tight-timer speedrun) should have a massive advantage. Heck, I even like to see the time after a first clear. Yeah, I could do math to roughly figure that out. Second: I notice that like 10k more people have liked the new videos than the older ones. I suggest you guys go back and like those too. I am honestly a little sad getting to the end of the SMM super expert no skip runs again, largely because SMM2 videos tend to be shorter (and no princess :'/ ), and partially because I feel like the on/off switches are overused. Yeah, they're a great mechanic, but much like new-supe speedrun mechanics, they just lead to levels where "you must do everything precisely like this"-only without the common new-supe speedrun chaos-which eliminates freedom and re-watch value, in my eyes. I also tend to really enjoy the highly structured theme levels (like the head-butt olympics), but never have much interest in seeing them again, because by the first watch I've seen and remembered everything.

You can use the 8bitdo software on a computer to remap the buttons on the Pro+. I moved the home button to the screenshot button and turned off the home button entirely because I kept hitting it as well. Just a pro tip.
