Ryzen 7 8700F Undervolt & Overclock to 5250 MHz feat. ROG X670E Hero | SkatterBencher #76

In today's video, I undervolt and overclock the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor up to 5250 MHz with the ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero motherboard and custom loop water cooling.
This will be the fourth Ryzen 8000 processor I overclocking on this channel, following the 8700G, 8600G, and 8500GE. However, this is the first Ryzen 8000 processor which doesn’t have integrated graphics, despite it being a Hawk Point APU.
This will be a relatively quick guide but I hope you enjoy the video nonetheless.

The memory controller of this particular sample wasn't that great compared to the one on the 8700G But I am studying up on DRAM to, hopefully, soon make some content about memory overclocking :)

Should i go with i5 13500 or 8700F? Mainly for 3D DCC and productivity purposes that requires multi threaded processing

none, go with r5 7600/x !! 8700F are stupid cpu and heavilly cutted r7 7700 with double less cache and lower frequency but same price!! i dont know why this and 8400f exists at all

man u are downed by air temperature, 30 is verry hot!!

The water temperature is fine though, which is the most important for these chips. I think it's just less lucky with the silicon lottery than with the 8700G

you must tell to peoples that this cpu have basically r7 5800x performance in games and that means it is slower then 12th gen intel cpus as 12600k or 12700k in gaming !1 8700f are too much cutted in less cache and less frequency and that will cost you with lower performance

8700f are stupid cpu unless it would cost 150-180$ at most and it wont!! it would cost same as r7 7700/x and it is slower then it so again this cpu are for fools probably
