why Asus bios has doubled setting under ExtremeTweaker and also under Advanced menu, what is the difference?
@SkatterBencher4 ай бұрын
The settings under Extreme Tweaker are intended to make life easier for performance tuning because all the settings are on one page. The AMD Overclocking submenu under the Advanced Menu is the original structure of the AMD BIOS options for overclocking. Those tools come with the AMD reference BIOS code.

@@SkatterBencher yes, but what is the difference to setting up for example cpu voltage, FCLK clock, ram Mhz (E.T.menu) / MTs (A.menu), ram PBO auto/enabled/disabled, ram timings etc... under Extreme tweaker or under Advanced menu is completly the same impact? Because in programming the double settings are considered possible source of errors and unprofessionality. Others-Gigabate... are also having same bios issue, I dont think so? Also speaking about RAM MHz in E.T.menu versus RAM MTs in Advanced menu why industry is renaming ram MHz into MTs, because they were cheating customers that DDR5=DoubleDataRate means that MHz times 2, but in reality DDR not means MHz times 2, but channels times 2?! Why I am thinking this: bacuase for calculation of PC clocks we must still MHz divide by 2 and softwares about computer ram specifications are showing DDR5 2 sticks correctly setted as 4 channels, so DDR means that not double frequency but double channels. Somebody should tell the truth!

There's no difference in using either menu or the other, since the (AMD Overclocking) items in Extreme Tweaker will program the same registers as the items in the AMD menu. But it's a good point that not all nomenclature is the same across the two menus and it can be confusing.
