Not sure of the compatible years but the compatible part numbers are 1332842, 1333104, 1333105, 1333285, 1333750.

hi what do you mean by compatible part numbers? any one of those will work on the sportsman highlifter? what year was your highlifter?

I may have missed it. Where is the pn for the joints for the tie rod. Also thank you for this video. Going on my 2nd pinion on the stock 850 HL diff I'm done! RZR diff here i come

Why did you take all the accessories off? Did you take them off to send it to the dealership for warranty?

Yes, took them off in an attempt to get warranty to cover it, they didn't.

Do you know that this swap works for non-highlifters? I have a '16 1000xp that ive done 6inch lift with 35s and now need to replace the diff.

Hey man please give me some information on this front diff thanks I have a full Facebook writing group we will be doing a meet and greet out at hog Waller for super bog after super bog I would like to fix my front Dess got a Lotta play in the axles where they go in the diff changed fluids and chunks of Metal came out

The tie rods hit the diff big time on a sportsman with a 2"lift... I'm going crazy.. The diff I trimmed the tiny piece off rather than the frame..

You need to run heim joints on the inners and you need to loosen up the pitman arm and slide it up the steering stem as far as you can. And that tiny piece you trimmed off added strength to the diff.

So you just cut the old bearing cap off to have something to bolt onto the steering box bracket? Its independent of the front diff now?

Did they have heim Joints on the inners? Also, you have to loosen the pitman arm and slide it up as far as you can.

I have a sportsman 850 with a 2” lift. Stock front differential with HD pinion cover. The tie rods hit the pinion cover at full cut. I want to try the hiems to see if it helps but you mentioned moving up the pitman arm. Is this possible with the stock diff?

No I don't think so because of how the steering stem is mounted to the stock diff.

Yep, still working just fine. My last deployment was Atsugi, got back 1.5 months before terminal. Geo is tough man, keep your eyes on the prize, it's only temporary, lol.

Can we do this on a regular 850 xp. I ask because I though high lifters had gear reduction? Is it in the transmission or the differential?

I know it will if it has the same body style as the High Lifter not sure about the newer body style but I bet it does.

You need wood bits to cut aluminum, metal bits just clog up.

So is the lower steering bearing cup not supported now? It use to be supported from the old diff itself?

Did you have to force your tie rods in the knuckles ?it seems that on full drop the heim doesnt roll enough downward. I had to undo the shock put the tie rod on then push down on the control arm to get the shock bolt back in.

Just curious you don't have to fasten down the steering shift to the diff? Looks like you just capped the bottom. I have 2015 1000 xp with eps.

There's a bracket that the cup attaches to, at the bottom of the stem is a bearing and it sits in the cup

@@austenloan8691 had to go buy some. Went with grade 8, either 1.5 or 1.75 long, can't remember which diameter and thread pitch either.

For the most part, the diffs are the same size, just cast a little different.

only downside I see is losing active descent but if you don’t ride mountains you don’t need it I guess. I use it too much to get rid of it

On the 900 deff what year of rzr did it come out of? I got 2017 highlifter sportman 1k going butt a 900 deff in it but don't know what year deff to get
