Damn, my heart almost went out of my chest when i saw that water getting closer and closer! Something tells me that you were probably testing some new protocol over there :p At least you will have a lot of things to report! Have a great week and happy flying :)

Relating to your last live session, this video artistically says the story of a free flying drone experiencing a small glitch and then being saved, right on the edge. Wish you all the happiness going forward Chad😊

That feaked me out I thought you were doing an inverted yaw spin on purpose, I am thinking, he better start thinking about pulling out soon. Dammmmm You are lucky that 1. you didn't failsafe over the water. 2. that you found your quad in that jungle.

@thomascee6 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah I got ya there, It just looks like it could have taken forever to find!
@SlipperyFPV6 жыл бұрын
That could have been either a really long walk or possibly a swim! :) Still looked far enough though.
@lebbixfpv56338 жыл бұрын
wow, that sucks, is this before or after you switched to KISS FC or is it just a bug in the S.Bus protocol?, some people who switched over to the old S.Bus protocol experienced major improvements.
@SoaringExperience6 жыл бұрын
How is this comment 2 years old, but the video is brandnew?

What SBus bug? I have been flying SBus on Futaba hardware since 2013 and haven't heard of this bug.
@mistercohaagen6 жыл бұрын
Oh... well that explains it. CRSFU then, I guess. Iunno. Skeptrum. Futablah... or maybe just a firmware update and antenna tests.

It doesn't look like a S.Bus bug. Motors don't stop. Maybe something happened with power supply?

taranis? chile vuela found similar symptom was m9 gimball fault.
@mistercohaagen6 жыл бұрын
yep... this is why bridge dives are iffy regardless of how pretty and expensive your chinese bullshit is. so many single points of failure.
@glenby2u6 жыл бұрын
vs what? I havent used my taranis in months. use a jumper instead. now that is cheap. guys I fly with have spektrums doing similar things. so I guess anything can have an issue.
@mistercohaagen6 жыл бұрын
That's my point... Brands don't matter... The nature of things like non-redundant potentiometers, no backup controller MCU's, redundant power systems, single-wire serial streams going from MCU that scrapes gimbals and switches to the MCU that handles RF transmission, no redundant radio telemetry link, no redundant FC's, flight batteries, RX's, dual GPS and OA, etc. If you follow the chain of how ground sensors are wired, and the entire path of that control information from the ground to the air, and even from aircraft sensors to FC to ESC's... one break in any one line and bad things will happen. Plus vibration, condensation, emi, etc... It's honestly impressive that they work at all, but bets should always be hedged... to think you don't need to is nothing but cocky. i used to build modular synths... i can't help but see the entire signal chain every time i fly.
