Amazing topic Sayf Carman. Please do more on these sort of topics where we examine fighting attributes outside of just mechanics and drills.

Amazing! Very few trainers, past and present, touched base on the subject of controlling the adrenaline and nervousness during a fight. This is a wealth of information -- thanks, Mr. Carman.

Excellent commentary! I've been saying this for too long now, but you articulated it in the vernacular of the trade. It's about honing your instincts. Most people think flight is the key to self defense when in reality it's closing distance that makes all the difference.

+Vince Harris I know you meant nothing by it, but I just want people to know about me. I use the language I use because I am an educated BLACK man with an IQ higher than the NATIONAL average (Including whites and Asians). Huey Newton, PHD in Philosophy. Angela Davis, PHD in Philosophy, Malcolm X lectured at OXFORD, MLK PHD in Theology, W.E.B Dubois, PHD in Philosophy. I majored in Philosophy and Minored in Economics. My vernacular is certainly NOT a put on. No one could speak with my speed and emotion and keep it up for three years if it was an act. Again, I know you meant nothing by it. I just took the chance to set it right with others who may have. Be well and thanks for your support, S

Great video Sayf. These lectures have helped me not only in my training but also to an extent, in dealing with life as whole. Thanks for these jewels. Peace.

Yes sir, I'm a newbie here. I've been training amateur boxers in Chicago for the past 18 months. In order to be the very best coach I can be, I'm constantly seeking more knowledge. Thus I came across your channel. Now I'm going to spend the next hour or so watching your early videos lol.

What do you think about 52 blocks?

How do you know that they aren't choosing to fight that way as opposed to assuming that they did not overcome their nervous system? I agree that this can be the cast many times if not most of the time, but you can't say this for everyone.

+hatemadness LOL! You going to all my videos like a female to find fault with what I said? LOL!!!! Listen buddy, I say what I say! ANYONE who moves outside when it is SAFER TO GO INSIDE IS AFRAID OF SOMETHING!
