People really think 50 wins is a lot. Floyd is very protective and picky of who he fights. That's why he will never be the best. I was conversing with some guys on KZbin who said that self defense was for women. And that they would rather sit their and throw hands, instead of kicking to the groin or gouging the eyes. I told them that I would definitely do those things because I'm not sure if the other person is out to kill me, and one of their responses was that street fights aren't always life and death situations. My response was that I'm not willing to take those chances with my life like they are just to be tough, so I'll do whatever I need to get away. I'd rather fight with "women techniques" than go to the hospital or the morgue because I wanted to be tough.

If you want to understand real street fighting, study what women do. Wow! This is some amazing advice coming from a guy who is an expert boxer among other things. Keep cranking out the best damn information on the web my friend. You nailed it once again. MMA claims to be the closing thing to street fighting, but how often do you see two guys wearing speedos carefully boxing each other in a street fight? NEVER. Clearly, what we call MMA is quite different from how it really happens on the street. The energy is different, the distance is different, the tactics are different. Thanks again for putting the truth out there for people who care. Mark T

Great video again :) Sayf, I got a question. I'm practising Taekwondo for 16 years now and also started kickboxing about 6 years ago, because TKD is a very good set up for kickboxing , but it's very limited, as only kicking is allowed. Now I also improved my boxing and dare to call myself a good stand up fighter (but I know, there's always room for improvement) Now I'm knew into watching MMA and appreciating the versatility of fighters like GSP f.e. Now I want to learn a bit of ground game because I have no experience on that and I want to be able to defend myself properly if someone tries to pull me to the ground Where I live, there are just 2 options, BJJ or wrestling. Can you please give me advice, which to start with ?

Sayf, how you defend against a spin back kick ?

At my job I’ve seen men tend to be a little nicer to customers, the females will be vicious with rude customers. Which I don’t disagree with I just notice men are willing to take alil more attitude. Btw when the female workers get into problems 90% of the time it with a female customer

mr carman this is a qw off the topic and plz I really need ur opinion..do u consider marcos maidana to b the new Roberto duran? he is aggressive emotionless,,strong not afraid of being hit etc,,all the caracteristics of ur ideal fighter..i wouldn't b surprised if he beats Floyd,,plz back up ur reply with arguments if agree or if u dont
@TheUmmahFightCamp10 жыл бұрын
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! Maidana is a fearless fighter who keeps coming but he NEVER beats a prime SUGAR RAY LEONARD NOR A HUGE IRAN BARKLEY!! ONE OF THE SAD THINGS IS THAT IS A MAN IS NOT MOVING LATERALLY, THEY ASSUME HE WAS NOT A GOOD BOXER! NO FIGHTER MOVES UP LIKE DURAN AND CAN'T BOX! I do not see Maidana beating Floyd. Floyd is NOT a bum! I just said he was not the greatest of ALL TIME.
@TheUmmahFightCamp10 жыл бұрын
lol! of course that would be "IF A MAN...." as opposed to "IS A MAN...."

TheUmmahFightCamp will u consider him going to the path of becoming a duran if he upsets the world and beats Floyd mayweather?..also mr carman I left u another qw on mike Tyson..this qw was posted on fb by steve lott on who wins if mike Tyson fought david tua in 2000?

imformative , thought provoking , and controversial stuff, this is why i watch this channel. now i dont think floyd is the greatest of all time thats hyperbole , but i do think he's the best of our generation. ive heard the lore of guys like ray robinson , pep, armstrong and there acomplishments are astounding. although its a different era in terms of number of bouts, but guys like them are timeless fighters that would have been great in any era. but consider the wilt chamberlin theory .. would he had been great in this era absolutley, but would he have put up the gaudy numbers he did in his time ? probably not because the talent disparity wouldn't have been as wide .
@TheUmmahFightCamp10 жыл бұрын
Actually, your points are not as "solid" as you may think. Ray would not have to put up the same numbers mathematically to prove my point. Also, it is a myth that the talent is better now than back then.

Uhhh. In Krav Maga they always aim for the nuts. So even if a person has a huge height disadvantage that vital attack which needs less power could give them time to escape
@TheUmmahFightCamp10 жыл бұрын
LOL!!!! "Uhh" PLEASE, PLEASE REMEMBER I SPEAK IN GENERAL TERMS! KRAV MAGA IS A MILITARY STYLE THAT IS BORN FROM CONSTANT CONTACT WITH THE ENEMY! IS THAT NOT AN "EXCEPTION"????? IT IS THE FEELINGS OF MANY MEN THAT KICKING TO THE GROIN AND PULLING HAIR IS NOT "MANLY". THAT IS THE GEEEEEEENERAL CONDTION.

being that pulling clothing involves no particular type of technique i must disagree with women being better fighters than men on average..
@TheUmmahFightCamp10 жыл бұрын
YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY SO CAUGHT UP IN YOUR PRECONCEIVED AND LONG HELD NOTIONS TO NOT GET THE GIST OF THE VIDEO. YOU ARE ALSO, VERY "DRAMATIC". " THE WORST STATEMENT EVER MADE" LOL. NEXT, IT IS NOT ABOUT TECHNIQUE! IT IS ABOUT THE REAL PRINCIPLE OF USING WHAT EVER MEANS TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS. PERHAPS WE ARE TOO ADVANCED IN THINKING FOR YOU :-)
@publishedcontent10 жыл бұрын
TheUmmahFightCamp or maybe i just dont see how pulling clothing and your statement about women being better street fighters made any sense.. pulling clothing is more of a desperation move than it is a good defense or offense..
@publishedcontent9 жыл бұрын
Patrick Star ok but in terms of street fighting swinging wide punches, scratching and pulling is not the best offense.. this is regarding male vs female gender in street fights..guys with street fighting experience would easily brush that crap off and lay a female out with a strait punch..secondly by nature females are physically weaker than men..so anybody with a IQ above retardation would know that a woman could not take the same amount of physical punishment.. that is regarding muscle mass and bone density. with out years of gym exercise or fight training its unlikely that one could KO the average size male. thats not to say that its not at all possible.. its just that a man could knock out a woman much easier with the right punch..a man could also take a punch better than a woman can due to his physical structure..thats to just put it logically..

Lol I've studied wing chun for years and my teacher use to say "fight like a female .....trust me". When I bridged the connection just like what you talked about in this video, street fighting became a little easier. Thank you for reminding me of this. I can't wait for your next video.
